Luke 20:20-40 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, who feigned themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of his speech, so as to deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor.

20 G2532 And G3906 they watched G649 him, and sent forth G1455 spies, G5271 who feigned G1438 themselves G1511 G1342 to be righteous, G2443 that G1949 they might take hold G846 of his G3056 speech, G2443 so G3860 as to deliver G846 him G1519 up to G746 the rule G2532 and G746 to the authority G2232 of the governor.

21 G2532 And G1905 they asked G846 him, G3004 saying, G1320 Teacher, G1492 we know G3754 that G3004 thou sayest G2532 and G1321 teachest G2532 rightly, G2532 and G2983 acceptest G4383 not the person G235 of any, but G1909 of a G225 truth G1321 teachest G3598 the way G2316 of God:

22 G1832 Is it lawful G2254 for us G1325 to give G5411 tribute G2541 unto Caesar, G2228 or G3756 not?

23 G1161 But G2657 he perceived G846 their G3834 craftiness, G2036 and said G4314 unto G846 them,

24 G1925 Show G3427 me G1220 a denarius. G5101 Whose G1504 image G2532 and G1923 superscription G2192 hath it? G1161 And G611 they said, G2541 Caesar's.

32 G5305 Afterward G3956 the G1135 woman G2532 also G599 died.

39 G1161 And G5100 certain G1122 of the scribes G611 answering G2036 said, G1320 Teacher, G2036 thou hast G2573 well G2036 said.

40 G1161 For G5111 they durst G3765 not G3762 any G1905 more ask G846 him any question.
