Isaiah 45 Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

1 H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah H4899 to his anointed, H3566 to Cyrus, H3225 whose right hand H2388 I have holden, H7286 to subdue H1471 nations H6440 before H6605 him, and I will loose H4975 the loins H4428 of kings; H6605 to open H1817 the doors H6440 before H1817 him, and the gates H5462 shall not be shut:

2 H3212 I will go H6440 before H3474 thee, and make H1921 the rough places H3474 smooth; H7665 I will break in pieces H1817 the doors H5154 of brass, H1438 and cut in sunder H1280 the bars H1270 of iron;

3 H5414 and I will give H214 thee the treasures H2822 of darkness, H4301 and hidden riches H4565 of secret places, H3045 that thou mayest know H3068 that it is I, Jehovah, H7121 who call H8034 thee by thy name, H430 even the God H3478 of Israel.

4 H3290 For Jacob H5650 my servant's H3478 sake, and Israel H972 my chosen, H7121 I have called H8034 thee by thy name: H3655 I have surnamed H3045 thee, though thou hast not known me.

5 H3068 I am Jehovah, H2108 and there is none else; besides H430 me there is no God. H247 I will gird H3045 thee, though thou hast not known me;

6 H3045 that they may know H4217 from the rising H8121 of the sun, H4628 and from the west, H657 that there is none H1107 besides H3068 me: I am Jehovah, and there is none else.

7 H3335 I form H216 the light, H1254 and create H2822 darkness; H6213 I make H7965 peace, H1254 and create H7451 evil. H3068 I am Jehovah, H6213 that doeth all these things.

8 H7491 Distil, H8064 ye heavens, H4605 from above, H7834 and let the skies H5140 pour down H6664 righteousness: H776 let the earth H6605 open, H6509 that it may bring forth H3468 salvation, H6666 and let it cause righteousness H6779 to spring up H3162 together; H3068 I, Jehovah, H1254 have created it.

9 H1945 Woe H7378 unto him that striveth H3335 with his Maker! H2789 a potsherd H2789 among the potsherds H127 of the earth! H2563 Shall the clay H559 say H3335 to him that fashioneth H6213 it, What makest H6467 thou? or thy work, H3027 He hath no hands?

10 H1945 Woe H559 unto him that saith H1 unto a father, H3205 What begettest H802 thou? or to a woman, H2342 With what travailest thou?

11 H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah, H6918 the Holy One H3478 of Israel, H3335 and his Maker: H7592 Ask H857 me of the things that are to come; H1121 concerning my sons, H6467 and concerning the work H3027 of my hands, H6680 command ye me.

12 H6213 I have made H776 the earth, H1254 and created H120 man H3027 upon it: I, even my hands, H5186 have stretched out H8064 the heavens; H6635 and all their host H6680 have I commanded.

13 H5782 I have raised him up H6664 in righteousness, H3474 and I will make straight H1870 all his ways: H1129 he shall build H5892 my city, H1546 and he shall let my exiles H7971 go H4242 free, not for price H7810 nor reward, H559 saith H3068 Jehovah H6635 of hosts.

14 H559 Thus saith H3068 Jehovah, H3018 The labor H4714 of Egypt, H5505 and the merchandise H3568 of Ethiopia, H5436 and the Sabeans, H582 men H4060 of stature, H5674 shall come over H3212 unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall go H310 after H2131 thee, in chains H5674 they shall come over; H7812 and they shall fall down H6419 unto thee, they shall make supplication H410 unto thee, saying, Surely God H657 is in thee; and there is none else, there is no H430 God.

15 H403 Verily H410 thou art a God H5641 that hidest H430 thyself, O God H3478 of Israel, H3467 the Saviour.

16 H3637 They shall be put to shame, H954 yea, confounded, H1980 all of them; they shall go H3639 into confusion H3162 together H2796 that are makers H6736 of idols.

17 H3478 But Israel H3467 shall be saved H3068 by Jehovah H5769 with an everlasting H8668 salvation: H3637 ye shall not be put to shame H954 nor confounded H5769 world H5703 without end.

18 H559 For thus saith H3068 Jehovah H1254 that created H8064 the heavens, H430 the God H3335 that formed H776 the earth H6213 and made H3559 it, that established H1254 it and created H8414 it not a waste, H3335 that formed H3427 it to be inhabited: H3068 I am Jehovah; and there is none else.

19 H1696 I have not spoken H5643 in secret, H4725 in a place H776 of the land H2822 of darkness; H559 I said H2233 not unto the seed H3290 of Jacob, H1245 Seek H8414 ye me in vain: H3068 I, Jehovah, H1696 speak H6664 righteousness, H5046 I declare H4339 things that are right.

20 H6908 Assemble H935 yourselves and come; H5066 draw near H3162 together, H6412 ye that are escaped H1471 of the nations: H3045 they have no knowledge H5375 that carry H6086 the wood H6459 of their graven image, H6419 and pray H410 unto a god H3467 that cannot save.

21 H5046 Declare H5066 ye, and bring it forth; H3289 yea, let them take counsel H3162 together: H5046 who hath showed H6924 this from ancient time? H5046 who hath declared H3068 it of old? have not I, Jehovah? H430 and there is no God H1107 else besides H6662 me, a just H410 God H3467 and a Saviour; H369 there is none H2108 besides me.

22 H6437 Look H3467 unto me, and be ye saved, H657 all the ends H776 of the earth; H410 for I am God, and there is none else.

23 H7650 By myself have I sworn, H1697 the word H3318 is gone forth H6310 from my mouth H6666 in righteousness, H7725 and shall not return, H1290 that unto me every knee H3766 shall bow, H3956 every tongue H7650 shall swear.

24 H3068 Only in Jehovah, H559 it is said H6666 of me, is righteousness H5797 and strength; H935 even to him shall men come; H2734 and all they that were incensed H954 against him shall be put to shame.

25 H3068 In Jehovah H2233 shall all the seed H3478 of Israel H6663 be justified, H1984 and shall glory.
