Isaiah 37:22-35

  22 G3778 This is G3588 the G3056 word G3739 which G2980 [²spoke G4012 ³concerning G1473 ⁴him G3588   G2316 ¹God]; G5336.3 [⁴treated you as worthless G1473   G2532 ⁵and G3456 ⁶sneered at G1473 ⁷you G3933 ¹ The virgin G2364 ²daughter G* ³of Zion]; G1909 [⁵against G1473 ⁶you G2776 ⁴ her head G2795 ³shook G2364 ¹ the daughter G* ²of Jerusalem].

  23 G5100 Whom G3679 did you berate G2532 and G3947 provoke? G2228 or, G4314 to G5100 whom G5312 did you raise up high G3588   G5456 your voice G1473   G2532 and G142 lift G1519 [²unto G5311 ³ the height G3588   G3788 ¹your eyes] G1473   G4314 against G3588 the G39 holy one G3588   G* of Israel?

  24 G3754 For G1223 through G32 messengers G3679 you berated G2962 the lord . G1473 For you G1063   G2036 said, G3588 With the G4128 multitude G3588   G716 of chariots G1473 I G305 shall ascend G1519 unto G5311 the height G3735 of mountains, G2532 and G1519 into G3588 the G2078 ends G3588   G* of Lebanon; G2532 and G2875 I felled G3588 the G5311 height G2748 of its cedar, G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G2566.3 beauty G3588 of the G2952.7 cypress; G2532 and G1525 I entered G1519 unto G5311 the height G3313 of the portion G3588 of the G1409.1 forest;

  26 G3756 Have you not G3778 heard these things G191   G3819 [⁴earlier G3739 ¹which G1473 ²I G4160 ³did]? G1537 From G2250 [²days G744 ¹ancient] G4929 I ordered it.   28 G3568 But now G1161   G3588   G372 [³your rest G1473   G2532 ⁴and G3588   G1841 ⁵your exit G1473   G2532 ⁶and G3588   G1529 ⁷your entrance G1473   G1473 ¹I G1987 ²know],

  31 G2532 And G1510.8.6 they shall be G3588 the ones G2641 being left behind G1722 in G3588   G* Judea. G5453 They shall germinate G4491 a root G2736 below, G2532 and G4160 they shall produce G4690 grain G507 upward.

  32 G3754 For G1537 from out of G* Jerusalem G1831 shall come forth G3588 the ones G2641 surviving, G2532 and G3588 the ones G4982 being preserved G1537 from out of G3735 mount G* Zion. G3588 The G2205 zeal G2962 of the lord G4519 of Hosts G4160 shall do G3778 these things .

  33 G1223 Therefore G3778   G3779 thus G3004 says G2962 the lord G1909 concerning G935 the king G* of the Assyrians, G3766.2 In no way G1525 shall he enter G1519 into G3588   G4172 this city, G3778   G3762.1 nor G906 throw G1909 [²against G1473 ³it G956 ¹an arrow], G3762.1 nor G1911 shall he put G1909 [²against G1473 ³it G2375 ¹a shield], G3761 nor G3361 shall G2944 he encircle G1909 [²against G1473 ³it G5482 ¹a siege mound].

  34 G235 But G3588 in the G3598 way G3739 in which G2064 he came G1909 by G1473 it, G654 he shall return; G2532 and G1519 [³into G3588   G4172 ⁴this city G3778   G3766.2 ¹in no way G1525 ²shall he enter]. G3592 Thus G3004 says G2962 the lord .

  35 G5231.3 I will shield G5228 over G3588   G4172 this city G3778   G3588   G4982 to deliver G1473 it, G1223 because of G1473 myself G2532 and G1223 because of G* David G3588   G3816 my servant. G1473
