John 1:2-18

  3 G3956 All things G1096 [G5633] were made G1223 by G846 him; G2532 and G5565 without G846 him G1096 0 was G3761 not G1520 any thing G1096 [G5633] made G3739 that G1096 [G5754] was made.

  4 G1722 In G846 him G2258 [G5713] was G2222 life; G2532 and G3588 the G2222 life G2258 [G5713] was G3588 the G5457 light G3588   G444 of men.

  5 G2532 And G3588 the G5457 light G5316 [G5719] shineth G1722 in G4653 darkness; G2532 and G3588 the G4653 darkness G2638 [G5627] overtook G846 it G3756 not.

  6 G1096 [G5633] There was G444 a man G649 [G5772] sent G3844 from the side of G2316 God, G846 whose G3686 name G2491 was John.

  7 G3778 The same G2064 [G5627] came G1519 for G3141 a witness, G2443 in order to G3140 [G5661] bear witness G4012 concerning G3588 the G5457 Light, G2443 that G3956 all men G1223 through G846 him G4100 [G5661] might believe.

  8 G2258 [G5713] He was G3756 not G1565 that G3588   G5457 Light, G235 but G2443 was sent to G3140 [G5661] bear witness G4012 concerning G3588 the G5457 Light.

  9 G2258 [G5713] That was G3588 the G228 true G3588   G5457 Light, G3739 which G5461 [G5719] lighteth G3956 G444 every man G2064 [G5740] coming G1519 into G3588 the G2889 world.

  10 G2258 [G5713] He was G1722 in G3588 the G2889 world, G2532 and G3588 the G2889 world G1096 [G5633] was made G1223 by G846 him, G2532 and G3588 the G2889 world G1097 [G5627] knew G846 him G3756 not.

  11 G2064 [G5627] He came G1519 unto G2398 his own, G2532 and G3588   G2398 his own G3880 [G5627] received G846 him G3756 not.

  12 G1161 But G3745 as many as G2983 [G5627] received G846 him, G846 to them G1325 [G5656] he gave G1849 authority G1096 [G5635] to become G5043 the children G2316 of God, G3588 even the ones G4100 [G5723] believing G1519 on G846 his G3588   G3686 name:

  13 G3739 Who G1080 [G5681] were born, G3756 not G1537 from out of G129 bloods, G3761 nor G1537 from out of G2307 the will G4561 of the flesh, G3761 nor G1537 from out of G2307 the will G435 of man, G235 but G1537 from out of G2316 God.

  14 G2532 And G3588 the G3056 Word G1096 [G5633] became G4561 flesh, G2532 and G4637 [G5656] encamped G1722 among G2254 us, G2532 (and G2300 [G5662] we beheld G3588   G846 his G1391 glory, G1391 the glory G5613 as G3439 of the only begotten G3844 of G3962 the Father,) G4134 full G5485 of grace G2532 and G225 truth.

  15 G2491 John G3140 [G5719] bore witness G4012 concerning G846 him, G2532 and G2896 [G5754] cried, G3004 [G5723] saying, G3778 This G2258 [G5713] was he G3739 of whom G2036 [G5627] I spoke, G3588 The one G2064 [G5740] coming G3694 after G3450 me G1096 [G5754] was G1715 before G3450 me: G3754 for G2258 [G5713] he was G4413 before G3450 me.

  16 G2532 And G1537 from out of G846 his G4138 fulness G2983 0 have G2249 we G3956 all G2983 [G5627] received, G2532 even G5485 grace G473 upon G5485 grace.

  17 G3754 For G3588 the G3551 law G1325 [G5681] was given G1223 through G3475 Moses, G3588 but the G5485 grace G2532 and G3588 the G225 truth G1096 [G5633] came G1223 through G2424 Jesus G5547 Anointed.

  18 G3762 No man G3708 [G5758] hath seen G2316 God G4455 at any time; G3588 the G3439 only begotten G5207 Son, G3588 the one G5607 [G5752] being G1519 in G3588 the G2859 bosom G3588 of the G3962 Father, G1565 he G1834 [G5662] hath declared him.
