Jeremiah 36:23-32 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the scribe's penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

26 H4428 But the king H6680 [H8762] commanded H3396 Jerahmeel H1121 the son H4429 of Hammelech, H8304 and Seraiah H1121 the son H5837 of Azriel, H8018 and Shelemiah H1121 the son H5655 of Abdeel, H3947 [H8800] to take H1263 Baruch H5608 [H8802] the scribe H3414 and Jeremiah H5030 the prophet: H3068 but the LORD H5641 [H8686] hid them.

27 H1697 Then the word H3068 of the LORD H3414 came to Jeremiah, H310 after H4428 that the king H8313 [H8800] had burned H4039 the scroll, H1697 and the words H1263 which Baruch H3789 [H8804] wrote H6310 at the mouth H3414 of Jeremiah, H559 [H8800] saying,

28 H3947 [H8798] Take H7725 [H8798] thee again H312 another H4039 scroll, H3789 [H8798] and write H7223 in it all the former H1697 words H7223 that were in the first H4039 scroll, H3079 which Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H8313 [H8804] hath burned.

29 H559 [H8799] And thou shalt say H3079 to Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H559 [H8804] Thus saith H3068 the LORD; H8313 [H8804] Thou hast burned H4039 this scroll, H559 [H8800] saying, H3789 [H8804] Why hast thou written H559 [H8800] in it, saying, H4428 The king H894 of Babylon H935 [H8800] shall certainly H935 [H8799] come H7843 [H8689] and decay H776 this land, H7673 [H8689] and shall cause to cease H120 from there man H929 and beast?

30 H559 [H8804] Therefore thus saith H3068 the LORD H3079 concerning Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah; H3427 [H8802] He shall have none to sit H3678 upon the throne H1732 of David: H5038 and his dead body H7993 [H8716] shall be cast out H3117 in the day H2721 to the dry heat, H3915 and in the night H7140 to the frost.

31 H6485 [H8804] And I will punish H2233 him and his seed H5650 and his servants H5771 for their perversity; H935 [H8689] and I will bring H3427 [H8802] upon them, and upon the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem, H376 and upon the men H3063 of Judah, H7451 all the evil H1696 [H8765] that I have pronounced H8085 [H8804] against them; but they hearkened not.

32 H3414 Then Jeremiah H3947 [H8804] took H312 another H4039 scroll, H5414 [H8799] and gave H1263 it to Baruch H5608 [H8802] the scribe, H1121 the son H5374 of Neriah; H3789 [H8799] who wrote H6310 in it from the mouth H3414 of Jeremiah H1697 all the words H5612 of the book H3079 which Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H8313 [H8804] had burned H784 in the fire: H3254 [H8738] and there were besides added H7227 to them many H1992 like H1697 words.
