Matthew 12:1-14

  12:1   1722 εν In 1565 εκείνω that 3588 τω   2540 καιρώ time 4198-3588-* επορεύθη ο Ιησούς Jesus went 3588 τοις on the 4521 σάββασι Sabbaths 1223 διά through 3588 των the 4702 σπορίμων corn-fields. 3588 οι   1161 δε And 3101-1473 μαθηταί αυτού his disciples 3983 επείνασαν hungered, 2532 και and 756 ήρξαντο they began 5089 τίλλειν to pluck 4719 στάχυας ears of corn 2532 και and 2068 εσθίειν to eat.   12:2   3588-1161 οι δε And the * Φαρισαίοι Pharisees 1492 ιδόντες seeing, 2036 είπον said 1473 αυτώ to him, 2400 ιδού Behold, 3588 οι   3101 μαθηταί σου your disciples 4160 ποιούσιν do 3739 ο what 3756 ουκ is not 1832 έξεστι allowed 4160 ποιείν to do 1722 εν on 4521 σαββάτω the Sabbath.   12:3   3588 ο   1161 δε And 2036 είπεν he said 1473 αυτοίς to them, 3756-314 ουκ ανέγνωτε Did you not read 5100 τι what 4160-* εποίησε Δαβίδ David did 3753 ότε when 3983-1473 επείνασεν αυτός he hungered 2532 και and 3588 οι the ones 3326 μετ΄ with 1473 αυτού him?   12:4   4459 πως How 1525 εισήλθεν he entered 1519 εις into 3588 τον the 3624 οίκον house 3588 του   2316 θεού of God, 2532 και and 3588 τους the 740 άρτους bread loaves 3588 της of the 4286 προθέσεως place setting 2068 έφαγεν he ate, 3739 ους which 3756 ουκ [²not 1832 εξόν ³allowable 1510.7.3 ην ¹was] 1473 αυτώ for him 2068 φαγείν to eat, 3761 ουδέ nor 3588 τοις to the ones 3326 μετ΄ with 1473 αυτού him, 1508 ει μη except for 3588 τοις the 2409 ιερεύσι priests 3441 μόνοις alone?   12:5   2228 η Or 3756 ουκ did you not 314 ανέγνωτε read 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 3551 νόμω law, 3754 ότι that 3588 τοις on the 4521 σάββασιν Sabbaths 3588 οι the 2409 ιερείς priests 1722 εν in 3588 τω the 2413 ιερώ temple 3588 το [²the 4521 σάββατον ³Sabbath 953 βεβηλούσι ¹profane], 2532 και and 338-1510.2.6 αναίτιοί εισι they are innocent?   12:6   3004-1161 λέγω δε But I say 1473 υμίν to you 3754 ότι that 3588 του [²the 2413 ιερού ³temple 3173 μείζον ¹a greater than] 1510.2.3 εστίν is 5602 ώδε here.   12:7   1487-1161 ει δε And if 1097 εγνώκειτε you had known 5100 τι what 1510.2.3 εστιν it is, 1656 έλεον Mercy 2309 θέλω I want 2532 και and 3756 ου not 2378 θυσίαν sacrifice; 3756-302 ουκ αν you would not have 2613 κατεδικάσατε judged against 3588 τους the 338 αναιτίους innocent.   12:8   2962 κύριος [⁶master 1063 γαρ ¹For 1510.2.3 εστι ⁵is 3588 του ⁷of the 4521 σαββάτου ⁸Sabbath 3588 ο ²the 5207 υιός ³son 3588 του   444 ανθρώπου ⁴of man].   12:9   2532 και And 3327 μεταβάς having crossed over 1564 εκείθεν from there, 2064 ήλθεν he came 1519 εις into 3588 την   4864-1473 συναγωγήν αυτών their synagogue.   12:10   2532 και And 2400 ιδού behold, 444-1510.7.3 άνθρωπος ην there was a man 3588 την   5495 χείρα [²a hand 2192 έχων ¹having] 3584 ξηράν withered. 2532 και And 1905 επηρώτησαν they asked 1473 αυτόν him, 3004 λέγοντες saying, 1487-1832 ει έξεστι Is it allowed 3588 τοις on the 4521 σάββασι Sabbaths 2323 θεραπεύειν to cure? 2443 ίνα that 2723 κατηγορήσωσιν they should charge 1473 αυτού him.   12:11   3588 ο   1161 δε And 2036 είπεν he said 1473 αυτοίς to them, 5100 τις What 1510.8.3 έσται [²will be 1537 εξ ³of 1473 υμών ⁴you 444 άνθρωπος ¹man] 3739 ος who 2192 έξει shall have 4263 πρόβατον [²sheep 1520 εν ¹one], 2532 και and 1437 εάν if 1706-3778 εμπέση τούτο this one should fall 3588 τοις on the 4521 σάββασιν Sabbaths 1519 εις into 999 βόθυνον a cistern, 3780 ουχί shall not 2902 κρατήσει grab hold of 1473 αυτό it 2532 και and 1453 εγερεί raise it?   12:12   4214-3767 πόσω ουν How much then 1308 διαφέρει differs 444 άνθρωπος a man 4263 προβάτου than a sheep? 5620 ώστε So that 1832 έξεστι it is allowed 3588 τοις [³on the 4521 σάββασι ⁴Sabbaths 2573 καλώς ²well 4160 ποιείν ¹to do].   12:13   5119 τότε Then 3004 λέγει he says 3588 τω to the 444 ανθρώπω man, 1614 έκτεινον Stretch out 3588 την   5495-1473 χείρά σου your hand! 2532 και And 1614 εξέτεινεν he stretched it out, 2532 και and 600 αποκατεστάθη it was restored 5199 υγιής in health 5613 ως as 3588 η the 243 άλλη other.   12:14   3588-1161 οι δε And the * Φαρισαίοι Pharisees 4824 συμβούλιον [²council 2983 έλαβον ¹took] 2596 κατ΄ against 1473 αυτού him, 1831 εξελθόντες having gone forth, 3704 όπως how 1473-622 αυτόν απολέσωσιν they should destroy him.
