Exodus 19:8

Exodus 21:1-23

2 H3588 כי If H7069 תקנה thou buy H5650 עבד servant, H5680 עברי a Hebrew H8337 שׁשׁ six H8141 שׁנים years H5647 יעבד he shall serve: H7637 ובשׁבעת and in the seventh H3318 יצא he shall go out H2670 לחפשׁי free H2600 חנם׃ for nothing.

3 H518 אם If H1610 בגפו by himself, H935 יבא he came in H1610 בגפו by himself: H3318 יצא he shall go out H518 אם if H1167 בעל were married, H802 אשׁה were married, H1931 הוא he H3318 ויצאה shall go out H802 אשׁתו then his wife H5973 עמו׃ with

4 H518 אם If H113 אדניו his master H5414 יתן have given H802 לו אשׁה him a wife, H3205 וילדה and she have born H1121 לו בנים him sons H176 או or H1323 בנות daughters; H802 האשׁה the wife H3206 וילדיה and her children H1961 תהיה shall be H113 לאדניה her master's, H1931 והוא and he H3318 יצא shall go out H1610 בגפו׃ by himself.

5 H518 ואם And if H559 אמר shall plainly say, H559 יאמר shall plainly say, H5650 העבד the servant H157 אהבתי I love H853 את H113 אדני my master, H853 את H802 אשׁתי my wife, H853 ואת H1121 בני and my children; H3808 לא I will not H3318 אצא go out H2670 חפשׁי׃ free:

6 H5066 והגישׁו shall bring H113 אדניו Then his master H413 אל him unto H430 האלהים the judges; H5066 והגישׁו he shall also bring H413 אל him to H1817 הדלת the door, H176 או or H413 אל unto H4201 המזוזה the door post; H7527 ורצע H113 אדניו and his master H853 את H241 אזנו H4836 במרצע with an awl; H5647 ועבדו and he shall serve H5769 לעלם׃ him forever.

7 H3588 וכי And if H4376 ימכר sell H376 אישׁ a man H853 את H1323 בתו his daughter H519 לאמה to be a maidservant, H3808 לא she shall not H3318 תצא go out H3318 כצאת do. H5650 העבדים׃ as the menservants

8 H518 אם If H7451 רעה she please not H5869 בעיני she please not H113 אדניה her master, H834 אשׁר who H3808 לא he shall have no H3259 יעדה H6299 והפדה her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: H5971 לעם nation H5237 נכרי her unto a strange H3808 לא H4910 ימשׁל power, H4376 למכרה to sell H898 בבגדו׃ seeing he hath dealt deceitfully

9 H518 ואם And if H1121 לבנו her unto his son, H3259 ייעדנה he have betrothed H4941 כמשׁפט with her after the manner H1323 הבנות of daughters. H6213 יעשׂה׃ he shall deal

10 H518 אם If H312 אחרת him another H3947 יקח he take H7607 לו שׁארה her food, H3682 כסותה her raiment, H5772 וענתה and her duty of marriage, H3808 לא shall he not H1639 יגרע׃ diminish.

11 H518 ואם And if H7969 שׁלשׁ three H428 אלה these H3808 לא not H6213 יעשׂה he do H3318 לה ויצאה unto her, then shall she go out H2600 חנם free H369 אין without H3701 כסף׃ money.

12 H5221 מכה He that smiteth H376 אישׁ a man, H4191 ומת so that he die, H4191 מות shall be surely put to death. H4191 יומת׃ shall be surely put to death.

13 H834 ואשׁר And if H3808 לא a man lie not in wait, H6658 צדה a man lie not in wait, H430 והאלהים but God H579 אנה deliver H3027 לידו into his hand; H7760 ושׂמתי then I will appoint H4725 לך מקום thee a place H834 אשׁר whither H5127 ינוס he shall flee. H8033 שׁמה׃ whither

14 H3588 וכי But if H2102 יזד come presumptuously H376 אישׁ a man H5921 על upon H7453 רעהו his neighbor, H2026 להרגו to slay H6195 בערמה him with guile; H5973 מעם him from H4196 מזבחי mine altar, H3947 תקחנו thou shalt take H4191 למות׃ that he may die.

15 H5221 ומכה And he that smiteth H1 אביו his father, H517 ואמו or his mother, H4191 מות shall be surely put to death. H4191 יומת׃ shall be surely put to death.

16 H1589 וגנב And he that stealeth H376 אישׁ a man, H4376 ומכרו and selleth H4672 ונמצא him, or if he be found H3027 בידו in his hand, H4191 מות he shall surely be put to death. H4191 יומת׃ he shall surely be put to death.

17 H7043 ומקלל And he that curseth H1 אביו his father, H517 ואמו or his mother, H4191 מות shall surely be put to death. H4191 יומת׃ shall surely be put to death.

18 H3588 וכי And if H7378 יריבן strive together, H376 אנשׁים men H5221 והכה smite H376 אישׁ and one H853 את H7453 רעהו another H68 באבן with a stone, H176 או or H106 באגרף with fist, H3808 ולא not, H4191 ימות and he die H5307 ונפל but keepeth H4904 למשׁכב׃ bed:

19 H518 אם If H6965 יקום he rise again, H1980 והתהלך and walk H2351 בחוץ abroad H5921 על upon H4938 משׁענתו his staff, H5352 ונקה be quit: H5221 המכה then shall he that smote H7535 רק only H7674 שׁבתו the loss of his time, H5414 יתן he shall pay H7495 ורפא and shall cause to be thoroughly healed. H7495 ירפא׃ and shall cause to be thoroughly healed.

20 H3588 וכי And if H5221 יכה smite H376 אישׁ a man H853 את H5650 עבדו his servant, H176 או or H853 את H519 אמתו his maid, H7626 בשׁבט with a rod, H4191 ומת and he die H8478 תחת under H3027 ידו his hand; H5358 נקם he shall be surely punished. H5358 ינקם׃ he shall be surely punished.

21 H389 אך Notwithstanding, H518 אם if H3117 יום a day H176 או or H3117 יומים two, H5975 יעמד he continue H3808 לא he shall not H5358 יקם be punished: H3588 כי for H3701 כספו his money. H1931 הוא׃ he

22 H3588 וכי If H5327 ינצו strive, H582 אנשׁים H5062 ונגפו and hurt H802 אשׁה a woman H2030 הרה with child, H3318 ויצאו depart H3206 ילדיה so that her fruit H3808 ולא and yet no H1961 יהיה follow: H611 אסון mischief H6064 ענושׁ he shall be surely punished, H6064 יענשׁ he shall be surely punished, H834 כאשׁר according as H7896 ישׁית will lay H5921 עליו upon H1167 בעל husband H802 האשׁה the woman's H5414 ונתן him; and he shall pay H6414 בפללים׃ as the judges

23 H518 ואם And if H611 אסון mischief H1961 יהיה follow, H5414 ונתתה then thou shalt give H5315 נפשׁ life H8478 תחת for H5315 נפשׁ׃ life,

Exodus 24:7

7 H3947 ויקח And he took H5612 ספר the book H1285 הברית of the covenant, H7121 ויקרא and read H241 באזני in the audience H5971 העם of the people: H559 ויאמרו and they said, H3605 כל All H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר hath said H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 נעשׂה will we do, H8085 ונשׁמע׃ and be obedient.

Deuteronomy 4:1
