ItalianRiveduta⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Ha teso il suo arco come il nemico, ha alzata la destra come un avversario, ha trucidato tutti quelli ch’eran più cari a vedersi; ha riversato il suo furore come un fuoco sulla tenda della figliuola di Sion. ⁵ Il Signore è divenuto come un nemico; ha divorato Israele; ha divorato tutti i suoi palazzi, ha distrutto le sue fortezze, ha moltiplicato nella figliuola di Giuda i lamenti e i gemiti. ⁶ Ha devastato la propria tenda come un giardino, ha distrutto il luogo della sua raunanza; l’Eterno ha fatto dimenticare in Sion le feste solenni ed i sabati, e, nell’indignazione della sua ira, ha reietto re e sacerdoti. ⁷ Il Signore ha preso in disgusto il suo altare, ha aborrito il suo santuario, ha dato i muri de’ palazzi di Sion in mano dei nemici, i quali han levato grida nella casa dell’Eterno, come in un giorno di festa. ⁸ L’Eterno ha deciso di distruggere le mura della figliuola di Sion; ha steso la corda, non ha ritirato la mano, prima d’averli distrutti; ha coperto di lutto bastioni e mura; gli uni e le altre languiscono.

Viešpats pašalino Sione švenčių ir sabatų iškilmes, paniekino savo įtūžyje karalius bei kunigus. ⁷ Viešpats atmetė savo aukurą, atsisakė šventyklos, o rūmus atidavė į priešų rankas. Jie šūkavo Viešpaties namuose kaip anksčiau iškilmių metu. ⁸ Viešpats nusprendė Siono dukters sienas sunaikinti. Jis, ištempęs matavimo virvę, ištiesė ranką galutiniam sunaikinimui. A dat în mînile vrăjmaşului zidurile palatelor Sionului; au răsunat strigătele în casa Domnului, ca într'o zi de sărbătoare. ⁸ Şi -a pus de gînd Domnul să dărîme zidurile fiicei Sionului; a întins sfoara de măsurat, şi nu Şi -a tras mîna pînă nu le -a nimicit. Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Він нап'яв Свого лука, як ворог, противником стала правиця Його, і Він вибив усе, що для ока було пожадане, у скинії доньки сіонської вилив запеклість Свою, як огонь... ⁵ Господь став, як той ворог, понищив Ізраїля Він, всі палати його зруйнував, твердині його попустошив, і Юдиній доньці примножив зідхання та стогін! ⁶ Понищив горожу Свою, немов у садка, місце зборів Своїх попустошив, Господь учинив, що забули в Сіоні про свято й суботу, і відкинув царя та священика в лютості гніву Свого... ⁷ Покинув Господь Свого жертівника, допустив побезчестити святиню Свою, передав в руку ворога мури палаців її, вороги зашуміли в Господньому домі, немов би святкового дня! ⁸ Задумав Господь зруйнувати мур сіонської доньки, Він витягнув шнура, Своєї руки не вернув, щоб не нищити, сумними вчинив передмур'я та мур, вони разом ослабли...
