Portuguese(i) 22 Assim o rei Joás não se lembrou da bondade que lhe fizera Joiada pai de Zacarias, antes matou-lhe o filho, o qual morrendo disse: Veja-o o Senhor, e o retribua. 23 Decorrido um ano, o exército da Síria subiu contra Joás; e vieram a Judá e a Jerusalém, e destruíram dentre o povo todos os seus príncipes, e enviaram todo o seu despojo ao rei de Damasco. 24 O exército dos sírios viera com poucos homens, contudo o Senhor entregou nas suas mãos um exército mui grande, porquanto abandonaram o Senhor, Deus de seus pais. Assim executaram juízo contra Joás.
Norwegian(i) 22 Kong Joas kom ikke i hu den kjærlighet som hans far Jojada hadde vist ham - han drepte hans sønn; men i det samme han døde, ropte han: Herren skal se det og hevne det! 23 Så skjedde det, da året var til ende, at syrernes hær drog op mot ham; de kom til Juda og Jerusalem og utryddet alle høvdingene i folket og sendte alt det hærfang de tok, til kongen i Damaskus. 24 Syrerhæren som kom, var bare liten; men enda gav Herren en meget tallrik hær i deres hånd, fordi de hadde forlatt Herren, sine fedres Gud. Således fullbyrdet de straffedommen over Joas.

Au omorît din popor pe toate căpeteniile poporului, şi au trimes împăratului toată prada la Damasc. 24 Oastea Sirienilor a venit cu un mic număr de oameni. Totuş, Domnul a dat în mînile lor o oaste foarte însemnată, pentrucă părăsiseră pe Domnul, Dumnezeul părinţilor lor. Astfel au pedepsit Sirienii pe Ioas.

А як той умирав, то сказав: Нехай побачить Господь, і нехай покарає!... 23 І сталося наприкінці року, прийшло на нього сирійське військо, і прибули до Юди та до Єрусалиму, і позабивали всіх зверхників народу, а всю здобич із них послали цареві в Дамаск. 24 Хоч з малою кількістю людей прийшло сирійське військо, проте Господь дав в їхню руку дуже велику силу, бо ті покинули Господа, Бога батьків своїх. А над Йоашем вони виконали присуд.
