Hosea 11

  2 H7121 As they called [H8804]   H1980 them, so they went [H8804]   H6440 from them H2076 : they sacrificed [H8762]   H1168 unto Baalim H6999 , and burned incense [H8762]   H6456 to graven images.
  3 H8637 I taught H669 Ephraim H8637 also to go [H8809]   H3947 , taking [H8800]   H2220 them by their arms H3045 ; but they knew [H8804]   H7495 not that I healed [H8804]   them.
  4 H4900 I drew [H8799]   H2256 them with cords H120 of a man H5688 , with bands H160 of love H7311 : and I was to them as they that take off [H8688]   H5923 the yoke H3895 on their jaws H5186 , and I laid [H8686]   H398 meat [H8686]   unto them.
  5 H7725 He shall not return [H8799]   H776 into the land H4714 of Egypt H804 , but the Assyrian H4428 shall be his king H3985 , because they refused [H8765]   H7725 to return [H8800]  .
  6 H2719 And the sword H2342 shall abide [H8804]   H5892 on his cities H3615 , and shall consume [H8765]   H905 his branches H398 , and devour [H8804]   H4156 them, because of their own counsels.

  8 H5414 How shall I give thee up [H8799]   H669 , Ephraim H4042 ? how shall I deliver [H8762]   H3478 thee, Israel H5414 ? how shall I make [H8799]   H126 thee as Admah H7760 ? how shall I set [H8799]   H6636 thee as Zeboim H3820 ? mine heart H2015 is turned [H8738]   H5150 within me, my repentings H3648 are kindled [H8738]   H3162 together.
  9 H6213 I will not execute [H8799]   H2740 the fierceness H639 of mine anger H7725 , I will not return [H8799]   H7843 to destroy [H8763]   H669 Ephraim H410 : for I am God H376 , and not man H6918 ; the Holy One H7130 in the midst H935 of thee: and I will not enter [H8799]   H5892 into the city.
  10 H3212 They shall walk [H8799]   H310 after H3068 the LORD H7580 : he shall roar [H8799]   H738 like a lion H7580 : when he shall roar [H8799]   H1121 , then the children H2729 shall tremble [H8799]   H3220 from the west.

  2 H7121 קראו they called H3651 להם כן them, so H1980 הלכו they went H6440 מפניהם from H1168 לבעלים unto Baalim, H2076 יזבחו them: they sacrificed H6456 ולפסלים to graven images. H6999 יקטרון׃ and burned incense
  3 H595 ואנכי I H7270 תרגלתי   H669 לאפרים   H3947 קחם taking H5921 על them by H2220 זרועתיו their arms; H3808 ולא not H3045 ידעו but they knew H3588 כי that H7495 רפאתים׃ I healed
  4 H2256 בחבלי them with cords H120 אדם of a man, H4900 אמשׁכם I drew H5688 בעבתות with bands H160 אהבה of love: H1961 ואהיה and I was H7311 להם כמרימי to them as they that take off H5923 על the yoke H5921 על on H3895 לחיהם their jaws, H328 ואט   H413 אליו unto H398 אוכיל׃ meat
  5 H3808 לא He shall not H7725 ישׁוב return H413 אל into H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H804 ואשׁור but the Assyrian H1931 הוא   H4428 מלכו shall be his king, H3588 כי because H3985 מאנו they refused H7725 לשׁוב׃ to return.
  6 H2342 וחלה shall abide H2719 חרב And the sword H5892 בעריו on his cities, H3615 וכלתה and shall consume H905 בדיו his branches, H398 ואכלה and devour H4156 ממעצותיהם׃ , because of their own counsels.
  7 H5971 ועמי And my people H8511 תלואים are bent H4878 למשׁובתי to backsliding H413 ואל them to H5920 על the most High, H7121 יקראהו from me: though they called H3162 יחד none at all H3808 לא none at all H7311 ירומם׃ would exalt
  8 H349 איך How H5414 אתנך shall I give thee up, H669 אפרים Ephraim? H4042 אמגנך shall I deliver H3478 ישׂראל thee, Israel? H349 איך how H5414 אתנך shall I make H126 כאדמה thee as Admah? H7760 אשׂימך shall I set H6636 כצבאים thee as Zeboim? H2015 נהפך is turned H5921 עלי within H3820 לבי mine heart H3162 יחד together. H3648 נכמרו are kindled H5150 נחומי׃ me, my repentings
  9 H3808 לא I will not H6213 אעשׂה execute H2740 חרון the fierceness H639 אפי of mine anger, H3808 לא I will not H7725 אשׁוב return H7843 לשׁחת to destroy H669 אפרים Ephraim: H3588 כי for H410 אל God, H595 אנכי I H3808 ולא and not H582 אישׁ   H7130 בקרבך in the midst H6918 קדושׁ the Holy One H3808 ולא of thee: and I will not H935 אבוא enter H5892 בעיר׃ into the city.
  10 H310 אחרי after H3068 יהוה the LORD: H1980 ילכו They shall walk H738 כאריה like a lion: H7580 ישׁאג he shall roar H3588 כי when H1931 הוא he H7580 ישׁאג shall roar, H2729 ויחרדו shall tremble H1121 בנים then the children H3220 מים׃ from the west.
  11 H2729 יחרדו They shall tremble H6833 כצפור as a bird H4714 ממצרים   H3123 וכיונה and as a dove H776 מארץ out of the land H804 אשׁור of Assyria: H3427 והושׁבתים and I will place H5921 על them in H1004 בתיהם their houses, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
  12 H5437 סבבני compasseth me about H3585 בכחשׁ with lies, H669 אפרים Ephraim H4820 ובמרמה with deceit: H1004 בית and the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3063 ויהודה but Judah H5750 עד yet H7300 רד ruleth H5973 עם with H410 אל God, H5973 ועם with H6918 קדושׁים the saints. H539 נאמן׃ and is faithful
