KJV_Strongs(i)
H8085 Hear [H8798]   H3068 ye now what the LORD H559 saith [H8802]   H6965 ; Arise [H8798]   H7378 , contend [H8798]   H2022 thou before the mountains H1389 , and let the hills H8085 hear [H8799]   H6963 thy voice.
H8085 Hear [H8798]   H2022 ye, O mountains H3068 , the LORD'S H7379 controversy H386 , and ye strong H4146 foundations H776 of the earth H3068 : for the LORD H7379 hath a controversy H5971 with his people H3198 , and he will plead [H8691]   H3478 with Israel.
H5971 O my people H6213 , what have I done [H8804]   H3811 unto thee? and wherein have I wearied [H8689]   H6030 thee? testify [H8798]   against me.
H5927 For I brought thee up [H8689]   H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H6299 , and redeemed [H8804]   H1004 thee out of the house H5650 of servants H7971 ; and I sent [H8799]   H6440 before H4872 thee Moses H175 , Aaron H4813 , and Miriam.
H5971 O my people H2142 , remember [H8798]   H1111 now what Balak H4428 king H4124 of Moab H3289 consulted [H8804]   H1109 , and what Balaam H1121 the son H1160 of Beor H6030 answered [H8804]   H7851 him from Shittim H1537 unto Gilgal H3045 ; that ye may know [H8800]   H6666 the righteousness H3068 of the LORD.
H6923 Wherewith shall I come before [H8762]   H3068 the LORD H3721 , and bow [H8735]   H4791 myself before the high H430 God H6923 ? shall I come before [H8762]   H5930 him with burnt offerings H5695 , with calves H8141 of a year H1121 old?
H3068 Will the LORD H7521 be pleased [H8799]   H505 with thousands H352 of rams H7233 , or with ten thousands H5158 of rivers H8081 of oil H5414 ? shall I give [H8799]   H1060 my firstborn H6588 for my transgression H6529 , the fruit H990 of my body H2403 for the sin H5315 of my soul?
H5046 He hath shewed [H8689]   H120 thee, O man H2896 , what is good H3068 ; and what doth the LORD H1875 require [H8802]   H6213 of thee, but to do [H8800]   H4941 justly H160 , and to love H2617 mercy H3212 , and to walk [H8800]   H6800 humbly [H8687]   H430 with thy God?
H3068 The LORD'S H6963 voice H7121 crieth [H8799]   H5892 unto the city H8454 , and the man of wisdom H7200 shall see [H8799]   H8034 thy name H8085 : hear [H8798]   H4294 ye the rod H3259 , and who hath appointed [H8804]   it.
H786 Are there H214 yet the treasures H7562 of wickedness [H8676]   H376   H1004 in the house H7563 of the wicked H7332 , and the scant H374 measure H2194 that is abominable [H8803]  ?
H2135 Shall I count them pure [H8799]   H7562 with the wicked H3976 balances H3599 , and with the bag H4820 of deceitful H68 weights?
H6223 For the rich men H4390 thereof are full [H8804]   H2555 of violence H3427 , and the inhabitants [H8802]   H1696 thereof have spoken [H8765]   H8267 lies H3956 , and their tongue H7423 is deceitful H6310 in their mouth.
H2470 Therefore also will I make thee sick [H8689]   H5221 in smiting [H8687]   H8074 thee, in making thee desolate [H8687]   H2403 because of thy sins.
H398 Thou shalt eat [H8799]   H7646 , but not be satisfied [H8799]   H3445 ; and thy casting down H7130 shall be in the midst H5253 of thee; and thou shalt take hold [H8686]   H6403 , but shalt not deliver [H8686]   H6403 ; and that which thou deliverest [H8762]   H5414 will I give up [H8799]   H2719 to the sword.
H2232 Thou shalt sow [H8799]   H7114 , but thou shalt not reap [H8799]   H1869 ; thou shalt tread [H8799]   H2132 the olives H5480 , but thou shalt not anoint [H8799]   H8081 thee with oil H8492 ; and sweet wine H8354 , but shalt not drink [H8799]   H3196 wine.
H2708 For the statutes H6018 of Omri H8104 are kept [H8691]   H4639 , and all the works H1004 of the house H256 of Ahab H3212 , and ye walk [H8799]   H4156 in their counsels H5414 ; that I should make [H8800]   H8047 thee a desolation H3427 , and the inhabitants [H8802]   H8322 thereof an hissing H5375 : therefore ye shall bear [H8799]   H2781 the reproach H5971 of my people.
ERV(i) 1 Hear ye now what the LORD saith: Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. 2 Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD’S controversy, and ye enduring foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel. 3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. 5 O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; [remember] from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD. 6 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? 7 will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? 9 The voice of the LORD crieth unto the city, and [the man of] wisdom will see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it. 10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable? 11 Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights? 12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. 13 Therefore I also have smitten thee with a grievous wound; I have made thee desolate because of thy sins. 14 Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy humiliation shall be in the midst of thee: and thou shalt remove, but shalt not carry away safe; and that which thou carriest away will I give up to the sword. 15 Thou shalt sow, but shalt not reap: thou shalt tread the olives, but shalt not anoint thee with oil; and the vintage, but shalt not drink the wine. 16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels: that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing; and ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
