KJV_Strongs(i)
H3117 In his days H5019 Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H5927 came up [H8804]   H3079 , and Jehoiakim H5650 became his servant H7969 three H8141 years H7725 : then he turned [H8799]   H4775 and rebelled [H8799]   against him.
H3068 And the LORD H7971 sent [H8762]   H1416 against him bands H3778 of the Chaldees H1416 , and bands H758 of the Syrians H1416 , and bands H4124 of the Moabites H1416 , and bands H1121 of the children H5983 of Ammon H7971 , and sent [H8762]   H3063 them against Judah H6 to destroy [H8687]   H1697 it, according to the word H3068 of the LORD H1696 , which he spake [H8765]   H3027 by H5650 his servants H5030 the prophets.
H6310 Surely at the commandment H3068 of the LORD H3063 came this upon Judah H5493 , to remove [H8687]   H6440 them out of his sight H2403 , for the sins H4519 of Manasseh H6213 , according to all that he did [H8804]  ;
H5355 And also for the innocent H1818 blood H8210 that he shed [H8804]   H4390 : for he filled [H8762]   H3389 Jerusalem H5355 with innocent H1818 blood H3068 ; which the LORD H14 would [H8804]   H5545 not pardon [H8800]  .
H3499 Now the rest H1697 of the acts H3079 of Jehoiakim H6213 , and all that he did [H8804]   H3789 , are they not written [H8803]   H5612 in the book H1697 of the chronicles H3117   H4428 of the kings H3063 of Judah?
H3079 So Jehoiakim H7901 slept [H8799]   H1 with his fathers H3078 : and Jehoiachin H1121 his son H4427 reigned [H8799]   in his stead.
H4428 And the king H4714 of Egypt H3318 came [H8800]   H3254 not again [H8689]   H776 any more out of his land H4428 : for the king H894 of Babylon H3947 had taken [H8804]   H5158 from the river H4714 of Egypt H5104 unto the river H6578 Euphrates H4428 all that pertained to the king H4714 of Egypt.
H3078 Jehoiachin H8083 was eighteen H6240   H8141 years H1121 old H4427 when he began to reign [H8800]   H4427 , and he reigned [H8804]   H3389 in Jerusalem H7969 three H2320 months H517 . And his mother's H8034 name H5179 was Nehushta H1323 , the daughter H494 of Elnathan H3389 of Jerusalem.
H6213 And he did [H8799]   H7451 that which was evil H5869 in the sight H3068 of the LORD H1 , according to all that his father H6213 had done [H8804]  .
H6256 At that time H5650 the servants H5019 of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H5927 came up [H8804]   H3389 against Jerusalem H5892 , and the city H935 was besieged [H8799]   H4692  .
H5019 And Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H935 came [H8799]   H5892 against the city H5650 , and his servants H6696 did besiege [H8802]   it.
H3078 And Jehoiachin H4428 the king H3063 of Judah H3318 went out [H8799]   H4428 to the king H894 of Babylon H517 , he, and his mother H5650 , and his servants H8269 , and his princes H5631 , and his officers H4428 : and the king H894 of Babylon H3947 took [H8799]   H8083 him in the eighth H8141 year H4427 of his reign [H8800]  .
H3318 And he carried out [H8686]   H214 thence all the treasures H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD H214 , and the treasures H4428 of the king's H1004 house H7112 , and cut in pieces [H8762]   H3627 all the vessels H2091 of gold H8010 which Solomon H4428 king H3478 of Israel H6213 had made [H8804]   H1964 in the temple H3068 of the LORD H3068 , as the LORD H1696 had said [H8765]  .
H1540 And he carried away [H8689]   H3389 all Jerusalem H8269 , and all the princes H1368 , and all the mighty men H2428 of valour H6235 , even ten H505 thousand H1540 captives [H8802]   H2796 , and all the craftsmen H4525 and smiths H7604 : none remained [H8738]   H2108 , save H1803 the poorest sort H5971 of the people H776 of the land.
H1540 And he carried away [H8686]   H3078 Jehoiachin H894 to Babylon H4428 , and the king's H517 mother H4428 , and the king's H802 wives H5631 , and his officers H352 , and the mighty [H8675]   H193   H776 of the land H3212 , those carried [H8689]   H1473 he into captivity H3389 from Jerusalem H894 to Babylon.
H582 And all the men H2428 of might H7651 , even seven H505 thousand H2796 , and craftsmen H4525 and smiths H505 a thousand H1368 , all that were strong H6213 and apt [H8802]   H4421 for war H4428 , even them the king H894 of Babylon H935 brought [H8686]   H1473 captive H894 to Babylon.
H4428 And the king H894 of Babylon H4983 made Mattaniah H1730 his father's brother H4427 king [H8686]   H5437 in his stead, and changed [H8686]   H8034 his name H6667 to Zedekiah.
H6667 Zedekiah H6242 was twenty H259 and one H8141 years H1121 old H4427 when he began to reign [H8800]   H4427 , and he reigned [H8804]   H259 eleven H6240   H8141 years H3389 in Jerusalem H517 . And his mother's H8034 name H2537 was Hamutal H1323 , the daughter H3414 of Jeremiah H3841 of Libnah.
H6213 And he did [H8799]   H7451 that which was evil H5869 in the sight H3068 of the LORD H3079 , according to all that Jehoiakim H6213 had done [H8804]  .
H639 For through the anger H3068 of the LORD H3389 it came to pass in Jerusalem H3063 and Judah H7993 , until he had cast them out [H8689]   H6440 from his presence H6667 , that Zedekiah H4775 rebelled [H8799]   H4428 against the king H894 of Babylon.
ERV(i) 1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him. 2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servants the prophets. 3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; 4 and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood: and the LORD would not pardon. 5 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 6 So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead. 7 And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken, from the brook of Egypt unto the river Euphrates, all that pertained to the king of Egypt. 8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned in Jerusalem three months: and his mother’s name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem. 9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done. 10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged. 11 And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came unto the city, while his servants were besieging it; 12 and Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign. 13 And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said. 14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land. 15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon; and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the chief men of the land, carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon. 16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths a thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. 17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah. 18 Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. 19 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. 20 For through the anger of the LORD did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence: and Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
