Ezekiel 33:24-33 Son of man, they that inhabit those waste places in the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

25 H559 Wherefore say H559 unto them, Thus saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah: H398 Ye eat H1818 with the blood, H5375 and lift up H5869 your eyes H1544 unto your idols, H8210 and shed H1818 blood: H3423 and shall ye possess H776 the land?

26 H5975 Ye stand H2719 upon your sword, H6213 ye work H8441 abomination, H2930 and ye defile H376 every one H7453 his neighbor's H802 wife: H3423 and shall ye possess H776 the land?

27 H559 Thus shalt thou say H559 unto them, Thus saith H136 the Lord H3069 Jehovah: H2416 As I live, H2723 surely they that are in the waste H5307 places shall fall H2719 by the sword; H6440 and him that is in the open H7704 field H5414 will I give H2416 to the beasts H398 to be devoured; H4679 and they that are in the strongholds H4631 and in the caves H4191 shall die H1698 of the pestilence.

28 H5414 And I will make H776 the land H8077 a desolation H8077 and an astonishment; H1347 and the pride H5797 of her power H7673 shall cease; H2022 and the mountains H3478 of Israel H8074 shall be desolate, H5674 so that none shall pass through.

29 H3045 Then shall they know H3068 that I am Jehovah, H5414 when I have made H776 the land H8077 a desolation H8077 and an astonishment, H8441 because of all their abominations H6213 which they have committed.

30 H1121 And as for thee, son H120 of man, H1121 the children H5971 of thy people H1696 talk H681 of H7023 thee by the walls H6607 and in the doors H1004 of the houses, H1696 and speak H2297 one H259 to another, H376 every one H251 to his brother, H559 saying, H935 Come, H8085 I pray you, and hear H1697 what is the word H3318 that cometh forth H3068 from Jehovah.

31 H935 And they come H5971 unto thee as the people H3996 cometh, H3427 and they sit H6440 before H5971 thee as my people, H8085 and they hear H1697 thy words, H6213 but do H6310 them not; for with their mouth H6213 they show H5690 much love, H3820 but their heart H1980 goeth H310 after H1215 their gain.

32 H5690 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely H7892 song H3303 of one that hath a pleasant H6963 voice, H2895 and can play well H5059 on an instrument; H8085 for they hear H1697 thy words, H6213 but they do them not.

33 H935 And when this cometh to pass, H935 (behold, it cometh,) H3045 then shall they know H5030 that a prophet H8432 hath been among them.
