17 H3581 And now, I beseech thee, let the power H136 of my Sovereign H1431 [H8799] be great, H834 according H1696 [H8765] as thou hast spoken, H559 [H8800] saying,

18 H3068 The LORD H750 is slow H639 to anger, H9002 and H7227 of great H2617 mercy, H5375 [H8802] forgiving H5771 perversity H9002 and H6588 revolt, H9001 and H3808 by no H5352 [H8763] means H5352 [H8762] clearing the guilty, H6485 [H8802] visiting H5771 the perversity H1 of the fathers H5921 upon H1121 the sons H5921 to the H8029 third H9002 and H5921 to the H7256 fourth generation.
