Numbers 14:15-24 Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man , then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak , saying,

16 H3068 Because the LORD H1115 was not H3201 [H8800] able H935 [H8687] to bring H5971 this people H776 into the land H7650 [H8738] which he swore H7819 [H8799] to them, therefore he hath slain H4057 them in the wilderness.

17 H3581 And now, I beseech thee, let the power H136 of my LORD H1431 [H8799] be great H834 , according H1696 [H8765] as thou hast spoken H559 [H8800] , saying,

18 H3068 The LORD H750 H639 is longsuffering H7227 , and of great H2617 mercy H5375 [H8802] , forgiving H5771 iniquity H6588 and transgression H5352 [H8763] , and by no means H5352 [H8762] clearing H6485 [H8802] the guilty, visiting H5771 the iniquity H1 of the fathers H1121 upon the children H8029 to the third H7256 and fourth generation.
