3 H804 Behold, the Assyrian H730 was a cedar H3844 in Lebanon H3303 with fair H6057 branches H6751 [H8688] , and with a shady H2793 cover H1362 , and of an high H6967 stature H6788 ; and his top H5688 was among the thick boughs.

4 H4325 The waters H1431 [H8765] made him great H8415 , the deep H7311 [H8790] set him up on high H5104 with her rivers H1980 [H8802] running H5439 around H4302 his plants H7971 [H8765] , and sent out H8585 her little rivers H6086 to all the trees H7704 of the field.

5 H6967 Therefore his height H1361 [H8804] was exalted H6086 above all the trees H7704 of the field H5634 , and his boughs H7235 [H8799] were multiplied H6288 , and his branches H748 [H8799] became long H7227 because of the multitude H4325 of waters H7971 [H8763] , when he shot forth.

7 H3302 [H8799] Thus was he fair H1433 in his greatness H753 , in the length H1808 of his branches H8328 : for his root H7227 was by great H4325 waters.

8 H730 The cedars H1588 in the garden H430 of God H6004 [H8804] could not hide H1265 him: the fir trees H1819 [H8804] were not like H5589 his boughs H6196 , and the chesnut trees H6288 were not like his branches H6086 ; not any tree H1588 in the garden H430 of God H1819 [H8804] was like H3308 him in his beauty.

9 H6213 [H8804] I have made H3303 him fair H7230 by the multitude H1808 of his branches H6086 : so that all the trees H5731 of Eden H1588 , that were in the garden H430 of God H7065 [H8762] , envied him.

14 H6086 To the end that none of all the trees H4325 by the waters H1361 [H8799] exalt H6967 themselves for their height H5414 [H8799] , neither shoot up H6788 their top H5688 among the thick boughs H352 , neither their trees H5975 [H8799] stand up H1363 in their height H8354 [H8802] , all that drink H4325 water H5414 [H8738] : for they are all delivered H4194 to death H8482 , to the lower parts H776 of the earth H8432 , in the midst H1121 of the children H120 of men H3381 [H8802] , with them that go down H953 to the pit.

16 H1471 I made the nations H7493 [H8689] to shake H6963 at the sound H4658 of his fall H3381 [H8687] , when I cast him down H7585 to hell H3381 [H8802] with them that descend H953 into the pit H6086 : and all the trees H5731 of Eden H4005 , the choice H2896 and best H3844 of Lebanon H8354 [H8802] , all that drink H4325 water H5162 [H8735] , shall be comforted H8482 in the lower parts H776 of the earth.

17 H3381 [H8804] They also went down H7585 into hell H2491 with him to them that are slain H2719 with the sword H2220 ; and they that were his arm H3427 [H8804] , that dwelt H6738 under his shadow H8432 in the midst H1471 of the heathen.
