  1 H5288 And the child H8050 Samuel H8334 ministered [H8764]   H3068 unto the LORD H6440 before H5941 Eli H1697 . And the word H3068 of the LORD H3368 was precious H3117 in those days H6555 ; there was no open [H8737]   H2377 vision.
  2 H3117 And it came to pass at that time H5941 , when Eli H7901 was laid down [H8802]   H4725 in his place H5869 , and his eyes H2490 began [H8689]   H3544 to wax dim H3201 , that he could [H8799]   H7200 not see [H8800]  ;
  3 H5216 And ere the lamp H430 of God H3518 went out [H8799]   H1964 in the temple H3068 of the LORD H727 , where the ark H430 of God H8050 was, and Samuel H7901 was laid down [H8802]   to sleep;
  4 H3068 That the LORD H7121 called [H8799]   H8050 Samuel H559 : and he answered [H8799]  , Here am I.
  5 H7323 And he ran [H8799]   H5941 unto Eli H559 , and said [H8799]   H2009 , Here am I H7121 ; for thou calledst [H8804]   H559 me. And he said [H8799]   H7121 , I called [H8804]   H7901 not; lie down [H8798]   H7725 again [H8798]   H3212 . And he went [H8799]   H7901 and lay down [H8799]  .
  6 H3068 And the LORD H7121 called [H8800]   H3254 yet again [H8686]   H8050 , Samuel H8050 . And Samuel H6965 arose [H8799]   H3212 and went [H8799]   H5941 to Eli H559 , and said [H8799]   H7121 , Here am I; for thou didst call [H8804]   H559 me. And he answered [H8799]   H7121 , I called [H8804]   H1121 not, my son H7901 ; lie down [H8798]   H7725 again [H8798]  .
  7 H8050 Now Samuel H2962 did not yet H3045 know [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H1697 , neither was the word H3068 of the LORD H1540 yet revealed [H8735]   unto him.
  8 H3068 And the LORD H7121 called [H8800]   H8050 Samuel H3254 again [H8686]   H7992 the third time H6965 . And he arose [H8799]   H3212 and went [H8799]   H5941 to Eli H559 , and said [H8799]   H7121 , Here am I; for thou didst call [H8804]   H5941 me. And Eli H995 perceived [H8799]   H3068 that the LORD H7121 had called [H8802]   H5288 the child.
  9 H5941 Therefore Eli H559 said [H8799]   H8050 unto Samuel H3212 , Go [H8798]   H7901 , lie down [H8798]   H7121 : and it shall be, if he call [H8799]   H559 thee, that thou shalt say [H8804]   H1696 , Speak [H8761]   H3068 , LORD H5650 ; for thy servant H8085 heareth [H8802]   H8050 . So Samuel H3212 went [H8799]   H7901 and lay down [H8799]   H4725 in his place.
  10 H3068 And the LORD H935 came [H8799]   H3320 , and stood [H8691]   H7121 , and called [H8799]   H6471 as at other times H8050 , Samuel H8050 , Samuel H8050 . Then Samuel H559 answered [H8799]   H1696 , Speak [H8761]   H5650 ; for thy servant H8085 heareth [H8802]  .
  11 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H8050 to Samuel H6213 , Behold, I will do [H8802]   H1697 a thing H3478 in Israel H8147 , at which both H241 the ears H8085 of every one that heareth [H8802]   H6750 it shall tingle [H8799]  .
  12 H3117 In that day H6965 I will perform [H8686]   H5941 against Eli H1696 all things which I have spoken [H8765]   H413 concerning H1004 his house H2490 : when I begin [H8687]   H3615 , I will also make an end [H8763]  .
  13 H5046 For I have told [H8689]   H8199 him that I will judge [H8802]   H1004 his house H5704 for H5769 ever H5771 for the iniquity H3045 which he knoweth [H8804]   H1121 ; because his sons H7043 made themselves vile [H8764]   H3543 , and he restrained [H8765]   them not.
  14 H7650 And therefore I have sworn [H8738]   H1004 unto the house H5941 of Eli H5771 , that the iniquity H5941 of Eli's H1004 house H3722 shall not be purged [H8691]   H2077 with sacrifice H4503 nor offering H5704 for H5769 ever.
  15 H8050 And Samuel H7901 lay [H8799]   H1242 until the morning H6605 , and opened [H8799]   H1817 the doors H1004 of the house H3068 of the LORD H8050 . And Samuel H3372 feared [H8804]   H5046 to shew [H8687]   H5941 Eli H4759 the vision.
  16 H5941 Then Eli H7121 called [H8799]   H8050 Samuel H559 , and said [H8799]   H8050 , Samuel H1121 , my son H559 . And he answered [H8799]  , Here am I.
  17 H559 And he said [H8799]   H1697 , What is the thing H1696 that the LORD hath said [H8765]   H3582 unto thee? I pray thee hide [H8762]   H430 it not from me: God H6213 do so [H8799]   H3254 to thee, and more also [H8686]   H3582 , if thou hide [H8762]   H1697 any thing H1697 from me of all the things H1696 that he said [H8765]   unto thee.
  18 H8050 And Samuel H5046 told [H8686]   H1697 him every whit H3582 , and hid [H8765]   H559 nothing from him. And he said [H8799]   H3068 , It is the LORD H6213 : let him do [H8799]   H5869 what seemeth H2896 him good.
  19 H8050 And Samuel H1431 grew [H8799]   H3068 , and the LORD H1697 was with him, and did let none of his words H5307 fall [H8689]   H776 to the ground.
  20 H3478 And all Israel H1835 from Dan H884 even to Beersheba H3045 knew [H8799]   H8050 that Samuel H539 was established [H8737]   H5030 to be a prophet H3068 of the LORD.
  21 H3068 And the LORD H7200 appeared [H8736]   H3254 again [H8686]   H7887 in Shiloh H3068 : for the LORD H1540 revealed [H8738]   H8050 himself to Samuel H7887 in Shiloh H1697 by the word H3068 of the LORD.
