Ezekiel 6 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying ,

1 H1697 And the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came unto me, saying [H8800] ,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man H7760 , set [H8798] H6440 thy face H2022 toward the mountains H3478 of Israel H5012 , and prophesy [H8734] against them,

3 H559 And say [H8804] H2022 , Ye mountains H3478 of Israel H8085 , hear [H8798] H1697 the word H136 of the Lord H3069 GOD H559 ; Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H2022 to the mountains H1389 , and to the hills H650 , to the rivers H1516 , and to the valleys H935 ; Behold, I, even I, will bring [H8688] H2719 a sword H6 upon you, and I will destroy [H8765] H1116 your high places.

4 H4196 And your altars H8074 shall be desolate [H8738] H2553 , and your images H7665 shall be broken [H8738] H5307 : and I will cast down [H8689] H2491 your slain H6440 men before H1544 your idols.

5 H5414 And I will lay [H8804] H6297 the dead carcases H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H6440 before H1544 their idols H2219 ; and I will scatter [H8765] H6106 your bones H5439 round about H4196 your altars.

6 H4186 In all your dwellingplaces H5892 the cities H2717 shall be laid waste [H8799] H1116 , and the high places H3456 shall be desolate [H8799] H4196 ; that your altars H2717 may be laid waste [H8799] H816 and made desolate [H8799] H1544 , and your idols H7665 may be broken [H8738] H7673 and cease [H8738] H2553 , and your images H1438 may be cut down [H8738] H4639 , and your works H4229 may be abolished [H8738] .

7 H2491 And the slain H5307 shall fall [H8804] H8432 in the midst H3045 of you, and ye shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD.

8 H3498 Yet will I leave a remnant [H8689] H6412 , that ye may have some that shall escape H2719 the sword H1471 among the nations H2219 , when ye shall be scattered [H8736] H776 through the countries.

9 H6412 And they that escape H2142 of you shall remember [H8804] H1471 me among the nations H7617 whither they shall be carried captives [H8738] H7665 , because I am broken [H8738] H2181 with their whorish [H8802] H3820 heart H5493 , which hath departed [H8804] H5869 from me, and with their eyes H2181 , which go a whoring [H8802] H310 after H1544 their idols H6962 : and they shall lothe [H8738] H6440 themselves H7451 for the evils H6213 which they have committed [H8804] H8441 in all their abominations.

10 H3045 And they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD H1696 , and that I have not said [H8765] H2600 in vain H6213 that I would do [H8800] H7451 this evil unto them.

11 H559 Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5221 ; Smite [H8685] H3709 with thine hand H7554 , and stamp [H8798] H7272 with thy foot H559 , and say [H8798] H253 , Alas H7451 for all the evil H8441 abominations H1004 of the house H3478 of Israel H5307 ! for they shall fall [H8799] H2719 by the sword H7458 , by the famine H1698 , and by the pestilence.

12 H7350 He that is far off H4191 shall die [H8799] H1698 of the pestilence H7138 ; and he that is near H5307 shall fall [H8799] H2719 by the sword H7604 ; and he that remaineth [H8737] H5341 and is besieged [H8803] H4191 shall die [H8799] H7458 by the famine H3615 : thus will I accomplish [H8765] H2534 my fury upon them.

13 H3045 Then shall ye know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD H2491 , when their slain H8432 men shall be among H1544 their idols H5439 round about H4196 their altars H7311 , upon every high [H8802] H1389 hill H7218 , in all the tops H2022 of the mountains H7488 , and under every green H6086 tree H5687 , and under every thick H424 oak H4725 , the place H5414 where they did offer [H8804] H5207 sweet H7381 savour H1544 to all their idols.

14 H5186 So will I stretch out [H8804] H3027 my hand H5414 upon them, and make [H8804] H776 the land H8077 desolate H4923 , yea, more desolate H4057 than the wilderness H1689 toward Diblath H4186 , in all their habitations H3045 : and they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD.
