Leviticus 16:2-19 ויאמר said יהוה And the LORD אל unto משׁה Moses, דבר Speak אל unto אהרן Aaron אחיך thy brother, ואל not יבא that he come בכל at all עת times אל into הקדשׁ the holy מבית within לפרכת the veil אל before פני before הכפרת the mercy seat, אשׁר which על upon הארן the ark; ולא not: ימות that he die כי for בענן in the cloud אראה I will appear על upon הכפרת׃ the mercy seat.

2 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H1696 דבר Speak H413 אל unto H175 אהרן Aaron H251 אחיך thy brother, H408 ואל not H935 יבא that he come H3605 בכל at all H6256 עת times H413 אל into H6944 הקדשׁ the holy H1004 מבית within H6532 לפרכת the veil H413 אל before H6440 פני before H3727 הכפרת the mercy seat, H834 אשׁר which H5921 על upon H727 הארן the ark; H3808 ולא not: H4191 ימות that he die H3588 כי for H6051 בענן in the cloud H7200 אראה I will appear H5921 על upon H3727 הכפרת׃ the mercy seat.

3 H2063 בזאת Thus H935 יבא come H175 אהרן shall Aaron H413 אל into H6944 הקדשׁ the holy H6499 בפר bullock H1121 בן with a young H1241 בקר : with a young H2403 לחטאת for a sin offering, H352 ואיל and a ram H5930 לעלה׃ for a burnt offering.

4 H3801 כתנת coat, H906 בד linen H6944 קדשׁ the holy H3847 ילבשׁ He shall put on H4370 ומכנסי breeches H906 בד the linen H1961 יהיו and he shall have H5921 על upon H1320 בשׂרו his flesh, H73 ובאבנט girdle, H906 בד with a linen H2296 יחגר and shall be girded H4701 ובמצנפת miter H906 בד and with the linen H6801 יצנף shall he be attired: H899 בגדי garments; H6944 קדשׁ holy H1992 הם these H7364 ורחץ therefore shall he wash H4325 במים in water, H853 את H1320 בשׂרו his flesh H3847 ולבשׁם׃ and put them on.

5 H853 ומאת H5712 עדת the congregation H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3947 יקח And he shall take H8147 שׁני two H8163 שׂעירי kids H5795 עזים of the goats H2403 לחטאת for a sin offering, H352 ואיל ram H259 אחד and one H5930 לעלה׃ for a burnt offering.

6 H7126 והקריב shall offer H175 אהרן And Aaron H853 את H6499 פר his bullock H2403 החטאת of the sin offering, H834 אשׁר which H3722 לו וכפר for himself, and make an atonement H1157 בעדו for H1157 ובעד himself, and for H1004 ביתו׃ his house.

7 H3947 ולקח And he shall take H853 את H8147 שׁני the two H8163 השׂעירם goats, H5975 והעמיד and present H853 אתם H6440 לפני them before H3068 יהוה the LORD H6607 פתח the door H168 אהל of the tabernacle H4150 מועד׃ of the congregation.

8 H5414 ונתן shall cast H175 אהרן And Aaron H5921 על upon H8147 שׁני the two H8163 השׂעירם goats; H1486 גרלות lots H1486 גורל lot H259 אחד one H3068 ליהוה for the LORD, H1486 וגורל lot H259 אחד and the other H5799 לעזאזל׃ for the scapegoat.

9 H7126 והקריב shall bring H175 אהרן And Aaron H853 את H8163 השׂעיר the goat H834 אשׁר which H5927 עלה fell, H5921 עליו upon H1486 הגורל lot H3068 ליהוה the LORD's H6213 ועשׂהו and offer H2403 חטאת׃ him a sin offering.

10 H8163 והשׂעיר But the goat, H834 אשׁר which H5927 עלה fell H5921 עליו on H1486 הגורל the lot H5799 לעזאזל to be the scapegoat, H5975 יעמד shall be presented H2416 חי alive H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3722 לכפר to make an atonement H5921 עליו with H7971 לשׁלח H853 אתו H5799 לעזאזל for a scapegoat H4057 המדברה׃ into the wilderness.

11 H7126 והקריב shall bring H175 אהרן And Aaron H853 את H6499 פר the bullock H2403 החטאת of the sin offering, H834 אשׁר which H3722 לו וכפר for himself, and shall make an atonement H1157 בעדו for H1157 ובעד himself, and for H1004 ביתו his house, H7819 ושׁחט and shall kill H853 את H6499 פר the bullock H2403 החטאת of the sin offering H834 אשׁר׃ which

12 H3947 ולקח And he shall take H4393 מלא full H4289 המחתה a censer H1513 גחלי of burning coals H784 אשׁ of fire H5921 מעל from off H4196 המזבח the altar H6440 מלפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H4393 ומלא full H2651 חפניו and his hands H7004 קטרת incense H5561 סמים of sweet H1851 דקה beaten small, H935 והביא and bring H1004 מבית within H6532 לפרכת׃ the veil:

13 H5414 ונתן And he shall put H853 את H7004 הקטרת the incense H5921 על upon H784 האשׁ the fire H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3680 וכסה may cover H6051 ענן that the cloud H7004 הקטרת of the incense H853 את H3727 הכפרת the mercy seat H834 אשׁר that H5921 על upon H5715 העדות the testimony, H3808 ולא not: H4191 ימות׃ that he die

14 H3947 ולקח And he shall take H1818 מדם of the blood H6499 הפר of the bullock, H5137 והזה and sprinkle H676 באצבעו with his finger H5921 על upon H6440 פני upon H3727 הכפרת the mercy seat H6924 קדמה eastward; H6440 ולפני and before H3727 הכפרת the mercy seat H5137 יזה shall he sprinkle H7651 שׁבע seven H6471 פעמים times. H4480 מן of the blood H1818 הדם the blood H676 באצבעו׃ with his finger

15 H7819 ושׁחט Then shall he kill H853 את H8163 שׂעיר the goat H2403 החטאת of the sin offering, H834 אשׁר that H5971 לעם for the people, H935 והביא and bring H853 את H1818 דמו his blood H413 אל within H1004 מבית H6532 לפרכת the veil, H6213 ועשׂה and do H854 את with H1818 דמו that blood H834 כאשׁר as H6213 עשׂה he did H1818 לדם with the blood H6499 הפר of the bullock, H5137 והזה and sprinkle H853 אתו H5921 על it upon H3727 הכפרת the mercy seat, H6440 ולפני and before H3727 הכפרת׃ the mercy seat:

16 H3722 וכפר And he shall make an atonement H5921 על for H6944 הקדשׁ the holy H2932 מטמאת , because of the uncleanness H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H6588 ומפשׁעיהם and because of their transgressions H3605 לכל in all H2403 חטאתם their sins: H3651 וכן and so H6213 יעשׂה shall he do H168 לאהל for the tabernacle H4150 מועד of the congregation, H7931 השׁכן that remaineth H854 אתם among H8432 בתוך them in the midst H2932 טמאתם׃ of their uncleanness.

17 H3605 וכל no H120 אדם man H3808 לא no H1961 יהיה And there shall be H168 באהל in the tabernacle H4150 מועד of the congregation H935 בבאו when he goeth in H3722 לכפר to make an atonement H6944 בקדשׁ in the holy H5704 עד until H3318 צאתו he come out, H3722 וכפר and have made an atonement H1157 בעדו for H1157 ובעד himself, and for H1004 ביתו his household, H1157 ובעד and for H3605 כל all H6951 קהל the congregation H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

18 H3318 ויצא And he shall go out H413 אל unto H4196 המזבח the altar H834 אשׁר that H6440 לפני before H3069 יהוה H3722 וכפר and make an atonement H5921 עליו for H3947 ולקח it; and shall take H1818 מדם of the blood H6499 הפר of the bullock, H1818 ומדם and of the blood H8163 השׂעיר of the goat, H5414 ונתן and put H5921 על upon H7161 קרנות the horns H4196 המזבח of the altar H5439 סביב׃ round about.

19 H5137 והזה And he shall sprinkle H5921 עליו upon H4480 מן of H1818 הדם the blood H676 באצבעו it with his finger H7651 שׁבע seven H6471 פעמים times, H2891 וטהרו and cleanse H6942 וקדשׁו it, and hallow H2932 מטמאת it from the uncleanness H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
