Exodus 3 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

2 H4397 And the messenger H3068 of the LORD H7200 [H8735] appeared H3827 to him in a flame H784 of fire H8432 out of the midst H5572 of a bush: H7200 [H8799] and he looked, H5572 and, behold, the bush H1197 [H8802] burned H784 with fire, H5572 and the bush H398 [H8794] was not consumed.

3 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said, H5493 [H8799] I will now turn aside, H7200 [H8799] and see H1419 this great H4758 sight, H4069 why H5572 the bush H1197 [H8799] is not burnt.

4 H3068 And when the LORD H7200 [H8799] saw H5493 [H8804] that he turned aside H7200 [H8800] to see, H430 God H7121 [H8799] called H8432 to him out of the midst H5572 of the bush, H559 [H8799] and said, H4872 Moses, H4872 Moses. H559 [H8799] And he said, Here am I.

5 H559 [H8799] And he said, H7126 [H8799] Come not near H1988 here: H5394 [H8798] put off H5275 thy shoes H7272 from thy feet, H4725 for the place H834 on which H5975 [H8802] thou standest H6944 is holy H127 soil.

6 H559 [H8799] Moreover he said, H430 I am the God H1 of thy father, H430 the God H85 of Abraham, H430 the God H3327 of Isaac, H430 and the God H3290 of Jacob. H4872 And Moses H5641 [H8686] hid H6440 his face; H3372 [H8804] for he was afraid H5027 [H8687] to look H430 upon God.

7 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said, H7200 [H8800] I have surely H7200 [H8804] seen H6040 the affliction H5971 of my people H4714 who are in Egypt, H8085 [H8804] and have heard H6818 their shriek H6440 by reason H5065 [H8802] of their taskmasters; H3045 [H8804] for I know H4341 their sorrows;

8 H3381 [H8799] And I am come down H5337 [H8687] to deliver H3027 them from the hand H4714 of the Egyptians, H5927 [H8687] and to bring H776 them up out of that land H2896 to a good H776 land H7342 and a large, H776 to a land H2100 [H8802] flowing H2461 with milk H1706 and honey; H4725 to the place H3669 of the Canaanites, H2850 and the Hittites, H567 and the Amorites, H6522 and the Perizzites, H2340 and the Hivites, H2983 and the Jebusites.

9 H6818 Now therefore, behold, the shriek H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel H935 [H8804] is come H7200 [H8804] to me: and I have also seen H3906 the oppression H4714 with which the Egyptians H3905 [H8801] oppress them.

10 H3212 [H8798] Come H7971 [H8799] now therefore, and I will send H6547 thee to Pharaoh, H3318 [H8685] that thou mayest bring forth H5971 my people H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H4714 out of Egypt.

11 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H430 to God, H3212 [H8799] Who am I, that I should go H6547 to Pharaoh, H3318 [H8686] and that I should bring forth H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H4714 out of Egypt?

12 H559 [H8799] And he said, H226 Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token H3588 to thee, that H7971 [H8804] I have sent H3318 [H8687] thee: When thou hast brought forth H5971 the people H4714 out of Egypt, H5647 [H8799] ye shall serve H430 God H2022 upon this mountain.

13 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H430 to God, H935 [H8802] Behold, when I come H1121 to the sons H3478 of Israel, H559 [H8804] and shall say H430 to them, The God H1 of your fathers H7971 [H8804] hath sent H559 [H8804] me to you; and they shall say H8034 to me, What is his name? H559 [H8799] what shall I say to them?

14 H430 And God H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H1961 [H8799] I AM H1961 [H8799] THAT I AM: H559 [H8799] and he said, H559 [H8799] Thus shalt thou say H1121 to the sons H3478 of Israel, H7971 [H8804] I AM hath sent me to you.

15 H430 And God H559 [H8799] said H5750 moreover H4872 to Moses, H559 [H8799] Thus shalt thou say H1121 to the sons H3478 of Israel, H3068 The LORD H430 God H1 of your fathers, H430 the God H85 of Abraham, H430 the God H3327 of Isaac, H430 and the God H3290 of Jacob, H7971 [H8804] hath sent H8034 me to you: this is my name H5769 to the age, H2143 and this is my memorial H1755 to all H1755 generations.

16 H3212 [H8798] Go, H622 0 and gather H2205 the elders H3478 of Israel H622 [H8804] together, H559 [H8804] and say H3068 to them, The LORD H430 God H1 of your fathers, H430 the God H85 of Abraham, H3327 of Isaac, H3290 and of Jacob, H7200 [H8738] appeared H559 [H8800] to me, saying, H6485 [H8800] I have surely H6485 [H8804] visited H6213 [H8803] you, and seen that which is done H4714 to you in Egypt:

17 H559 [H8799] And I have said, H5927 [H8686] I will bring H6040 you up out of the affliction H4714 of Egypt H776 to the land H3669 of the Canaanites, H2850 and the Hittites, H567 and the Amorites, H6522 and the Perizzites, H2340 and the Hivites, H2983 and the Jebusites, H776 to a land H2100 [H8802] flowing H2461 with milk H1706 and honey.

18 H8085 [H8804] And they shall hearken H6963 to thy voice: H935 [H8804] and thou shalt come, H2205 thou and the elders H3478 of Israel, H4428 to the king H4714 of Egypt, H559 [H8804] and ye shall say H3068 to him, The LORD H430 God H5680 of the Hebrews H7136 [H8738] hath met H3212 [H8799] with us: and now let us go, H7969 we beseech thee, three H3117 days' H1870 journey H4057 into the wilderness, H2076 [H8799] that we may sacrifice H3068 to the LORD H430 our God.

19 H3045 [H8804] And I am sure H4428 that the king H4714 of Egypt H5414 [H8799] will not let H1980 [H8800] you go, H2389 no, not by a mighty H3027 hand.

20 H7971 [H8804] And I will stretch out H3027 my hand, H5221 [H8689] and smite H4714 Egypt H6381 [H8737] with all my wonders H6213 [H8799] which I will do H7130 in its midst: H310 and after H7971 [H8762] that he will let you go.

21 H5414 [H8804] And I will give H5971 this people H2580 favour H5869 in the eyes H4714 of the Egyptians: H3212 [H8799] and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, H3212 [H8799] ye shall not go H7387 empty:

22 H802 But every woman H7592 [H8804] shall ask H7934 of her neighbour, H1481 [H8802] and of her that dwelleth H1004 in her house, H3627 jewels H3701 of silver, H3627 and jewels H2091 of gold, H8071 and raiment: H7760 [H8804] and ye shall put H1121 them upon your sons, H1323 and upon your daughters; H5337 [H8765] and ye shall plunder H4714 the Egyptians.
