2 Samuel 6:7-23 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

8 H1732 And David H2734 [H8799] was displeased, H3068 because the LORD H6555 H6556 [H8804] had broken forth in anger H5798 against Uzzah: H7121 [H8799] and he called H4725 the name of the place H6560 Perezuzzah H3117 to this day.

9 H1732 And David H3372 [H8799] was afraid H3068 of the LORD H3117 that day, H559 [H8799] and said, H727 How shall the ark H3068 of the LORD H935 [H8799] come to me?

10 H1732 So David H14 [H8804] would H5493 [H8687] not remove H727 the ark H3068 of the LORD H5892 to him into the city H1732 of David: H1732 but David H5186 [H8686] carried it aside H1004 into the house H5654 of Obededom H1663 the Gittite.

11 H727 And the ark H3068 of the LORD H3427 [H8799] continued H1004 in the house H5654 of Obededom H1663 the Gittite H7969 three H2320 months: H3068 and the LORD H1288 [H8762] blessed H5654 Obededom, H1004 and all his household.

12 H5046 [H8714] And it was told H4428 king H1732 David, H559 [H8800] saying, H3068 The LORD H1288 [H8765] hath blessed H1004 the house H5654 of Obededom, H727 and all that pertaineth to him, because of the ark H430 of God. H1732 So David H3212 [H8799] went H5927 [H8686] and brought up H727 the ark H430 of God H1004 from the house H5654 of Obededom H5892 into the city H1732 of David H8057 with gladness.

13 H5375 [H8802] And it was so, that when they that bore H727 the ark H3068 of the LORD H6805 [H8804] had gone H8337 six H6806 paces, H2076 [H8799] he sacrificed H7794 oxen H4806 and fatlings.

14 H1732 And David H3769 [H8772] danced H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD H5797 with all his might; H1732 and David H2296 [H8803] was girded H906 with a linen H646 ephod.

15 H1732 So David H1004 and all the house H3478 of Israel H5927 [H8688] brought up H727 the ark H3068 of the LORD H8643 with shouting, H6963 and with the sound H7782 of the shofar.

16 H727 And as the ark H3068 of the LORD H935 [H8802] came H5892 into the city H1732 of David, H4324 Michal H7586 Saul's H1323 daughter H8259 [H8738] looked H2474 through a window, H7200 [H8799] and saw H4428 king H1732 David H6339 [H8764] leaping H3769 [H8772] and dancing H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD; H959 [H8799] and she despised H3820 him in her heart.

17 H935 [H8686] And they brought H727 in the ark H3068 of the LORD, H3322 [H8686] and set H4725 it in its place, H8432 inside H168 the tent H1732 that David H5186 [H8804] had pitched H1732 for it: and David H5927 [H8686] offered H5930 burnt offerings H8002 and peace offerings H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD.

18 H1732 And as soon as David H3615 [H8762] had finished H5927 [H8687] offering H5930 burnt offerings H8002 and peace offerings, H1288 [H8762] he blessed H5971 the people H8034 in the name H3068 of the LORD H6635 of hosts.

19 H2505 [H8762] And he distributed H5971 among all the people, H1995 even among the whole multitude H3478 of Israel, H802 as well to the women H376 as men, H376 to every one H259 a H2471 cake H3899 of bread, H829 and a good piece H809 of flesh, and a flagon H5971 of wine. So all the people H3212 [H8799] departed H376 every one H1004 to his house.

20 H1732 Then David H7725 [H8799] returned H1288 [H8763] to bless H1004 his household. H4324 And Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H3318 [H8799] came out H7125 [H8800] to meet H1732 David, H559 [H8799] and said, H3513 [H8738] How glorious H4428 was the king H3478 of Israel H3117 to day, H1540 [H8738] who uncovered H3117 himself to day H5869 in the eyes H519 of the handmaids H5650 of his servants, H259 as one H7386 of the empty fellows H1540 [H8736] shamelessly H1540 [H8736] uncovereth himself!

21 H1732 And David H559 [H8799] said H4324 to Michal, H6440 It was at the face of H3068 the LORD, H977 [H8804] who chose H1 me before thy father, H1004 and before all his house, H6680 [H8763] to appoint H5057 me ruler H5971 over the people H3068 of the LORD, H3478 over Israel: H7832 [H8765] therefore will I play H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD.

22 H7043 [H8738] And I will yet be more contemptible H2063 than this, H8217 and will be base H5869 in my own eyes: H519 and by the maidservants H559 [H8804] which thou hast spoken H3513 [H8735] of, by them shall I be had in honour.

23 H4324 Therefore Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H2056 H3206 [H8675] had no child H3117 until the day H4194 of her death.
