9 H1732 And David H3372 [H8799] was afraid H3068 of the LORD H3117 that day H559 [H8799] , and said H727 , How shall the ark H3068 of the LORD H935 [H8799] come to me?

10 H1732 So David H14 [H8804] would H5493 [H8687] not remove H727 the ark H3068 of the LORD H5892 to him into the city H1732 of David H1732 : but David H5186 [H8686] carried it aside H1004 into the house H5654 of Obededom H1663 the Gittite.

11 H727 And the ark H3068 of the LORD H3427 [H8799] continued H1004 in the house H5654 of Obededom H1663 the Gittite H7969 three H2320 months H3068 : and the LORD H1288 [H8762] blessed H5654 Obededom H1004 , and all his household.

16 H727 And as the ark H3068 of the LORD H935 [H8802] came H5892 into the city H1732 of David H4324 , Michal H7586 Saul's H1323 daughter H8259 [H8738] looked H2474 through a window H7200 [H8799] , and saw H4428 king H1732 David H6339 [H8764] leaping H3769 [H8772] and dancing H6440 before H3068 the LORD H959 [H8799] ; and she despised H3820 him in her heart.

17 H935 [H8686] And they brought H727 in the ark H3068 of the LORD H3322 [H8686] , and set H4725 it in its place H8432 , inside H168 the tabernacle H1732 that David H5186 [H8804] had pitched H1732 for it: and David H5927 [H8686] offered H5930 burnt offerings H8002 and peace offerings H6440 before H3068 the LORD.

18 H1732 And as soon as David H3615 [H8762] had finished H5927 [H8687] offering H5930 burnt offerings H8002 and peace offerings H1288 [H8762] , he blessed H5971 the people H8034 in the name H3068 of the LORD H6635 of hosts.

And Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H3318 [H8799] came out H7125 [H8800] to meet H1732 David H559 [H8799] , and said H3513 [H8738] , How glorious H4428 was the king H3478 of Israel H3117 to day H1540 [H8738] , who uncovered H3117 himself to day H5869 in the eyes H519 of the handmaids H5650 of his servants H259 , as one H7386 of the foolish fellows H1540 [H8736] shamelessly H1540 [H8736] uncovereth himself!

21 H1732 And David H559 [H8799] said H4324 to Michal H6440 , It was before H3068 the LORD H977 [H8804] , who chose H1 me before thy father H1004 , and before all his house H6680 [H8763] , to appoint H5057 me ruler H5971 over the people H3068 of the LORD H3478 , over Israel H7832 [H8765] : therefore will I play H6440 before H3068 the LORD.

22 H7043 [H8738] And I will yet be more contemptible H2063 than this H8217 , and will be base H5869 in my own sight H519 : and by the maidservants H559 [H8804] which thou hast spoken H3513 [H8735] of, by them shall I be had in honour.

23 H4324 Therefore Michal H1323 the daughter H7586 of Saul H2056 H3206 [H8675] had no child H3117 until the day H4194 of her death.
