Judges 19:15-28 And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah : and when he went in , he sat him down in a street of the city : for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging .

16 H935 And, behold, there came [H8804] H2205 an old H376 man H4639 from his work H7704 out of the field H6153 at even H376 , which was also H2022 of mount H669 Ephraim H1481 ; and he sojourned [H8804] H1390 in Gibeah H582 : but the men H4725 of the place H1145 were Benjamites.

17 H5375 And when he had lifted up [H8799] H5869 his eyes H7200 , he saw [H8799] H732 a wayfaring [H8802] H376 man H7339 in the street H5892 of the city H2205 : and the old H376 man H559 said [H8799] H3212 , Whither goest [H8799] H370 thou? and whence H935 comest [H8799] thou?

18 H559 And he said [H8799] H5674 unto him, We are passing [H8802] H1035 from Bethlehemjudah H3063 H3411 toward the side H2022 of mount H669 Ephraim H3212 ; from thence am I: and I went [H8799] H1035 to Bethlehemjudah H3063 H1980 , but I am now going [H8802] H1004 to the house H3068 of the LORD H376 ; and there is no man H622 that receiveth [H8764] H1004 me to house.

19 H3426 Yet there is H8401 both straw H4554 and provender H2543 for our asses H3899 ; and there is bread H3196 and wine H519 also for me, and for thy handmaid H5288 , and for the young man H5650 which is with thy servants H4270 : there is no want H1697 of any thing.

20 H2205 And the old H376 man H559 said [H8799] H7965 , Peace H7535 be with thee; howsoever H4270 let all thy wants H3885 lie upon me; only lodge [H8799] H7339 not in the street.

21 H935 So he brought [H8686] H1004 him into his house H1101 , and gave provender [H8799] H2543 unto the asses H7364 : and they washed [H8799] H7272 their feet H398 , and did eat [H8799] H8354 and drink [H8799] .

24 H1323 Behold, here is my daughter H1330 a maiden H6370 , and his concubine H3318 ; them I will bring out [H8686] H6031 now, and humble [H8761] H6213 ye them, and do [H8798] H5869 with them what seemeth H2896 good H376 unto you: but unto this man H6213 do [H8799] H2063 not so H5039 vile H1697 a thing.

25 H582 But the men H14 would [H8804] H8085 not hearken [H8800] H376 to him: so the man H2388 took [H8686] H6370 his concubine H3318 , and brought [H8686] H2351 her forth H3045 unto them; and they knew [H8799] H5953 her, and abused [H8691] H3915 her all the night H1242 until the morning H7837 : and when the day H5927 began to spring [H8800] H7971 , they let her go [H8762] .

27 H113 And her lord H6965 rose up [H8799] H1242 in the morning H6605 , and opened [H8799] H1817 the doors H1004 of the house H3318 , and went out [H8799] H3212 to go [H8800] H1870 his way H802 : and, behold, the woman H6370 his concubine H5307 was fallen down [H8802] H6607 at the door H1004 of the house H3027 , and her hands H5592 were upon the threshold.

28 H559 And he said [H8799] H6965 unto her, Up [H8798] H3212 , and let us be going [H8799] H6030 . But none answered [H8802] H376 . Then the man H3947 took [H8799] H2543 her up upon an ass H376 , and the man H6965 rose up [H8799] H3212 , and gat [H8799] H4725 him unto his place.
