1 Samuel 29 Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.

1 H6430 Now the Philistines H6908 gathered together H4264 all their armies H663 to Aphek: H3478 and the Israelites H2583 pitched H5869 by a fountain H3157 which is in Jezreel.

2 H5633 And the lords H6430 of the Philistines H5674 passed on H3967 by hundreds, H505 and by thousands: H1732 but David H582 and his men H5674 passed on H314 in the rear H397 with Achish.

3 H559 Then said H8269 the princes H6430 of the Philistines, H5680 What are these Hebrews H397 doing here? And Achish H559 said H8269 unto the princes H6430 of the Philistines, H1732 Is not this David, H5650 the servant H7586 of Saul H4428 the king H3478 of Israel, H3117 which has been with me these days, H8141 or these years, H4672 and I have found H3972 no fault H3117 in him since H5307 he fell H3117 away unto me unto this day?

4 H8269 And the princes H6430 of the Philistines H7107 were angry H8269 with him; and the princes H6430 of the Philistines H559 said H7725 unto him, Make H376 this fellow H7725 return, H7725 that he may go again H4725 to his place H6485 which you have appointed H3381 him, and let him not go down H4421 with us to battle, H4421 lest in the battle H7854 he be an adversary H7521 to us: for with which should he reconcile H113 himself unto his master? H7218 should it not be with the heads H582 of these men?

5 H1732 Is not this David, H6030 of whom they sang H4246 one to another in dances, H559 saying, H7586 Saul H5221 killed H505 his thousands, H1732 and David H7233 his ten thousands?

6 H397 Then Achish H7121 called H1732 David, H559 and said H3068 unto him, Surely, as the Lord H2416 lives, H3477 you have been upright, H3318 and your going out H935 and your coming in H4264 with me in the army H2896 is good H5869 in my sight: H4672 for I have not found H7451 evil H3117 in you since the day H935 of your coming H3117 unto me unto this day: H5633 nevertheless the lords H2896 favor H5869 you not.

7 H7725 That is why now return, H3212 and go H7965 in peace, H7451 that you displease H5633 not the lords H6430 of the Philistines.

8 H1732 And David H559 said H397 unto Achish, H6213 But what have I done? H4672 and what have you found H5650 in your servant H3117 so long as H6440 I have been with you H3117 unto this day, H935 that I may not go H3898 fight H341 against the enemies H113 of my lord H4428 the king?

9 H397 And Achish H6030 answered H559 and said H1732 to David, H3045 I know H2896 that you are good H5869 in my sight, H4397 as an angel H430 of God: H8269 nevertheless the princes H6430 of the Philistines H559 have said, H5927 He shall not go up H4421 with us to the battle.

10 H7925 Therefore now rise up early H1242 in the morning H113 with your master's H5650 servants H935 that are come H7925 with you: and as soon as you are up early H1242 in the morning, H215 and have light, H3212 depart.

11 H1732 So David H582 and his men H7925 rose up early H3212 to depart H1242 in the morning, H7725 to return H776 into the land H6430 of the Philistines. H6430 And the Philistines H5927 went up H3157 to Jezreel.
