Joshua 22:11-34 And the sons of Israel heard, saying, Behold, they built (the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh) a shrine upon the border of the land of Canaan, at Gilead of Jordan, on the other side of the sons of Israel.

12 G2532 And G191 [⁴heard G3588 ¹the G5207 ²sons G* ³of Israel], G2532 and G4867 [⁵gathered together G3956 ¹all G3588 ²the G5207 ³sons G* ⁴of Israel] G1519 in G* Shiloh, G5620 for G305 their ascending G1473 G1606.2 to wage war.

13 G2532 And G649 [⁴sent G3588 ¹the G5207 ²sons G* ³of Israel] G4314 to G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Reuben, G2532 and G4314 to G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad, G2532 and G4314 to G3588 the G2255 half G5443 tribe G* of Manasseh, G1519 into G3588 the G1093 land G* of Gilead, G3588 G5037 both G* Phinehas G5207 the son G* of Eleazar, G5207 the son G* of Aaron G3588 the G2409 chief priest,

14 G2532 and G1176 ten G3588 of the G758 rulers G3588 of the ones G3326 with G1473 him; G758 [²ruler G1520 ¹one] G575 from G3624 a house G3965 of family, G575 from G3956 all G3588 of the G5443 tribes G* of Israel, G435 men G758 rulers G3624 of the houses G3965 of the families -- G1510.2.6 they are G5506 commanders of thousands G* in Israel.

25 G2532 And G3725 [²a border G5087 ¹ the lord put] G2962 G303.1 between G1473 us G2532 and G1473 you, G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Reuben G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad -- G3588 the G* Jordan; G2532 and G3756 there is no G1510.2.3 G1473 [²to you G3310 ¹portion] G2962 of the lord . G2532 And G526 [²shall separate G3588 G5207 ¹your sons] G1473 G3588 G5207 from our sons, G1473 G2443 that G3361 they should not G4576 worship G2962 the lord .

26 G2532 And G2036 we said G4160 to do G3779 thus, G3588 G3618 to build G3588 G1041 this shrine, G3778 G3756 not G1752 because of G2593.2 yield offerings, G3761 nor G1752 because of G2378 sacrifices,

27 G235 but G2443 that G1510.3 [²might be G3142 ¹this testimony] G3778 G303.1 between G1473 us G2532 and G303.1 between G1473 you, G2532 and G303.1 between G3588 G1074 our generations G1473 G3326 after G1473 us, G3588 G3000 to serve G3588 the G2999 service G2962 of the lord G1726 before G1473 him G1722 in G3588 G2593.2 our yield offerings, G1473 G2532 and G1722 in G3588 G2378 our sacrifices, G1473 G2532 and G1722 in G3588 the G2378 sacrifices G3588 G4992 of our deliverances; G1473 G2532 and so that G3756 [²shall not say G2046 G3588 G5043 ¹your children] G1473 G839 tomorrow G3588 to G5043 our children, G1473 G3756 There is no G1510.2.3 G1473 portion to you G3310 G2962 of the lord .

28 G2532 And G2036 we said, G1437 If G1096 it comes to pass G4218 at some time or other, G2532 and G2980 they shall speak G4314 to G1473 us G2228 or G3588 to G1074 our generations G1473 G839 tomorrow, G2532 then G2046 we shall say, G1492 Behold! G3667 it is a representation G3588 of the G2379 altar G2962 of the lord G3739 which G4160 [²made G3588 G3962 ¹our fathers]. G1473 G3756 It is not G1752 for G2593.2 yield offerings, G3761 nor G1752 for G2378 sacrifices, G235 but G3142 it is a testimony G1510.2.3 G303.1 between G1473 you, G2532 and G303.1 between G1473 us, G2532 and G303.1 between G3588 G5207 our sons. 29 G3361 May it not G1096 be G3767 then G1473 for us G868 to leave G575 from G2962 the lord, G5620 so as G654 to turn away G1722 in G3588 G4594 today's G2250 days G575 from G2962 the lord, G5620 so as G3618 to build G1473 us G2379 an altar G3588 for the G2593.2 yield offerings, G2532 and G3588 the G2378 sacrifices, G2532 and G3588 the G2378 sacrifice G3588 G4992 of deliverance, G4133 except for G3588 the G2379 altar G2962 of the lord G3588 G2316 our God G1473 G3739 which G1510.2.3 is G1726 before G3588 G4633 his tent. 30 G2532 And G191 [⁴heard G* ¹Phinehas G3588 ²the G2409 ³priest], G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G758 rulers G3588 of the G4864 congregation, G2532 and G3588 the G5506 commanders G* of Israel, G3739 the ones who G1510.7.6 were G3326 with G1473 him, G3588 the G3056 words G3739 which G2980 they spoke, G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Reuben, G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad, G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Manasseh, G2532 and G700 it pleased G1473 them.

31 G2532 And G2036 [⁶said G* ¹Phinehas G5207 ²son G* ³of Eleazar G3588 ⁴the G2409 ⁵priest] G3588 to the G5207 sons G* of Reuben, G2532 and G3588 to the G5207 sons G* of Gad, G2532 and G3588 to the G5207 sons G* of Manasseh, G4594 Today G1097 we know G3754 that G3326 [² is with G1473 ³us G2962 ¹ the lord], G1360 for G3756 you did not G4131.2 trespass G1726 before G2962 the lord G4131.1 this trespass, G3778 G2532 and G3754 that G4506 you rescued G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Israel G1537 from out of G5495 the hand G2962 of the lord .

32 G2532 And G654 [⁹returned G* ¹Phinehas G5207 ²son G* ³of Eleazar G3588 ⁴the G2409 ⁵priest G2532 ⁶and G3588 ⁷the G758 ⁸rulers] G575 from G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Reuben, G2532 and G575 from G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad, G1537 from out of G3588 G* Gilead G1519 unto G1093 the land G* of Canaan, G4314 to G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Israel; G2532 and G611 they answered G1473 to them G3588 with these G3056 words.

33 G2532 And G700 [³was pleasing G3588 ¹the G3056 ²word] G3588 to the G5207 sons G* of Israel; G2532 and G2127 they blessed G3588 the G2316 God G5207 of the sons G* of Israel. G2532 And G3765 no longer G2036 they spoke G305 to ascend G4314 to G1473 them G1519 for G4171 war, G1842 to utterly destroy G3588 the G1093 land G3588 of the G5207 sons G* of Reuben G2532 and G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Gad G3739 which G2730 they dwelt G1909 upon G1473 it.

34 G2532 And G2028 he named G* G3588 G* [³for Reuben G2532 ⁴and G3588 G* ⁵for Gad G3588 ¹the G1041 ²shrine]. G2532 And G2036 they said G3754 that, G3142 It is a testimony G1510.2.3 G303.1 in the midst G1473 of them, G3754 that G2962 the lord G1473 he G2316 [²their God G1473 G1510.2.3 ¹is].
