Genesis 22:1-12

  1 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G3326 after G3588   G4487 these words, G3778   G3588   G2316 God G3985 tested G3588   G* Abraham, G2532 and G2036 said G1473 to him, G* Abraham, G* Abraham. G2532 And G2036 he said, G2400 Behold, G1473 it is I.

  2 G2532 And G2036 he said, G2983 Take G3588   G5207 your son, G1473   G3588 the G27 beloved, G3739 whom G25 you loved -- G3588   G* Isaac! G2532 And G4198 go G1519 into G3588 the G1093 [²land G3588   G5308 ¹high], G2532 and G399 offer G1473 him G1563 there G1519 as G3645.2 a whole offering G1909 upon G1520 one G3588 of the G3735 mountains! G3739 which G302 ever G1473 I may tell you. G2036  

  3 G450 [³rising up G1161 ¹And G* ²Abraham] G4404 in the morning, G1977.2 saddled G3588   G3688 his donkey, G1473   G3880 and he took G1161   G3326 with G1438 himself G1417 two G3816 servants, G2532 and G* Isaac G3588   G5207 his son. G1473   G2532 And G4977 splitting G3586 wood G1519 for G3645.2 a whole offering, G450 [²rising up G4198 ³to go G2532 ¹and], G2064 they came G1909 upon G3588 the G5117 place G3739 which G2036 [²spoke G1473 ³to him G3588   G2316 ¹God], G3588   G2250 [³day G3588 ¹on the G5154 ²third].

  4 G2532 And G308 Abraham looking up G*   G3588 with G3788 his eyes G1473   G1492 saw G3588 the G5117 place G3113 far off.

  5 G2532 And G2036 Abraham said G*   G3588   G3816 to his servants, G1473   G2523 You sit G847 here G3326 with G3588 the G3688 donkey! G1473 and I G1161   G2532 and G3588 the G3808 lad G1330 will go through G2193 unto G5602 here. G2532 And G4352 doing obeisance G390 we will return G4314 to G1473 you.

  6 G2983 [³took G1161 ¹And G* ²Abraham] G3588 the G3586 wood G3588 for the G3645.2 whole offering, G2532 and G2007 placed it upon G* Isaac G3588   G5207 his son. G1473   G2983 And he took G1161   G3326 with G5495 his hands G3588 the G4442 fire G2532 and G3588 the G3162 knife; G2532 and G4198 [³went G3588 ¹the G1417 ²two] G260 together.

  7 G2036 [³said G1161 ¹And G* ²Isaac] G4314 to G* Abraham G3588   G3962 his father, G1473   G3962 Father. G3588   G1161 And G2036 he said, G5100 What G1510.2.3 is it G5043 child? G2036 And he said, G1161   G2400 Behold, G3588 the G4442 fire G2532 and G3588 the G3586 wood, G4226 where G1510.2.3 is G3588 the G4263 sheep -- G3588 the one G1519 for G3645.2 a whole offering?

  8 G2036 [³said G1161 ¹And G* ²Abraham], G3588   G2316 God G3708 will see G1438 to himself G4263 a sheep G1519 for G3645.2 a whole offering, G5043 child. G4198 [³going G1161 ¹And G297 ²both] G260 together,

  9 G2064 they came G1909 upon G3588 the G5117 place G3739 which G2036 [²spoke G1473 ³to him G3588   G2316 ¹God]. G2532 And G3618 [²built G1563 ³there G* ¹Abraham] G3588 the G2379 altar. G2532 And G2007 he placed upon it G3588 the G3586 wood. G2532 And G4846.1 binding [³hand and foot G* ¹Isaac G3588   G5207 ²his son], G1473   G2007 he placed G1473 him G1909 upon G3588 the G2379 altar G1883 upon G3588 the G3586 wood.

  10 G2532 And G1614 Abraham stretched G*   G3588   G5495 his hand G1473   G2983 to take G3588 the G3162 knife G4969 to slay G3588   G5207 his son. G1473  

  11 G2532 And G2564 [³called G1473 ⁴him G32 ¹an angel G2962 ²of the lord] G1537 from out of G3588 the G3772 heaven. G2532 And G2036 he said, G* Abraham, G* Abraham. G3588   G1161 And G2036 he said, G2400 Behold, G1473 it is I.

  12 G2532 And G2036 he said, G3361 You should not G1911 put G3588   G5495 your hand G1473   G1909 upon G3588 the G3808 lad, G3366 nor G4160 should you do G1473 anything to him G3367 by any means. G3568 For now G1063   G1097 I know G3754 that G5399 you fear G1473   G3588   G2316 God, G2532 and G3756 spared not G5339   G3588   G5207 [³son G1473 ¹your G3588   G27 ²beloved] G1223 on account of G1473 me.
