Luke 5:27-38

  27 G2532 And G3326 after G5023 these things G1831 [G5627] he went forth, G2532 and G2300 [G5662] saw G5057 a tax collector, G3686 named G3018 Levi, G2521 [G5740] sitting G1909 at G5058 the tax office: G2532 and G2036 [G5627] he said G846 to him, G190 [G5720] { Follow G3427 me.}

  28 G2532 And G2641 [G5631] he left G537 all, G450 [G5631] rose up, G190 [G5656] and followed G846 him.

  29 G2532 And G3018 Levi G4160 [G5656] made G846 him G3173 a great G1403 feast G1722 in G846 his own G3614 house: G2532 and G2258 [G5713] there was G3793 a crowd G4183 of many G5057 tax collectors G2532 and G243 of others G3739 who G2258 [G5713] were G2621 [G5740] reclining G3326 with G846 them.

  30 G2532 But G846 their G1122 scribes G2532 and G5330 Pharisees G1111 [G5707] murmured G4314 against G846 his G3101 disciples, G3004 [G5723] saying, G1302 Why G2068 [G5719] do ye eat G2532 and G4095 [G5719] drink G3326 with G5057 tax collectors G2532 and G268 sinners?

  31 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G611 [G5679] answering G2036 [G5627] said G4314 to G846 them, G5198 [G5723] { They that are well G5532 G2192 [G5719] need G3756 not G2395 a physician; G235 but G2192 [G5723] they that are G2560 badly ill.}

  32 G2064 [G5754] { I came G3756 not G2564 [G5658] to call G1342 the righteous, G235 but G268 sinners G1519 to G3341 a change of mind.}

  33 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] they said G4314 to G846 him, G1302 Why G3522 0 do G3101 the disciples G2491 of John G3522 [G5719] fast G4437 often, G2532 and G4160 [G5731] make G1162 prayers, G2532 and G3668 likewise G3588 the disciples G5330 of the Pharisees; G1161 but G4674 thine G2068 [G5719] eat G2532 and G4095 [G5719] drink?

  34 G1161 And G2036 [G5627] he said G4314 to G846 them, G3361   G1410 [G5736] { Can ye G4160 [G5658] make G5207 the sons G3567 of the bridechamber G3522 [G5721] fast, G3739 G1722 while G3566 the bridegroom G2076 [G5748] is G3326 with G846 them?}

  35 G1161 { But G2250 days G2064 [G5695] will come, G2532 and G3752 whenever G3588 the G3566 bridegroom G522 [G5686] may be taken away G575 from G846 them, G5119 then G3522 [G5692] they shall fast G1722 in G1565 those G2250 days.}

  36 G1161 And G3004 [G5707] he spoke G2532 also G3850 a parable G4314 to G846 them; G3754   G3762 { No man G1911 [G5719] putteth G1915 a piece G2537 of a new G2440 garment G1909 upon G2440 G3820 an old; G1490 if so, then G2532 both G2537 the new G4977 [G5719] maketh a tear, G2532 and G1915 the piece G575 that was taken from G2537 the new G4856 [G5719] agreeth G3756 not G3820 with the old.}

  37 G2532 { And G3762 no man G906 [G5719] putteth G3501 new G3631 wine G1519 into G3820 old G779 bottles; G1490 else G3501 the new G3631 wine G4486 [G5692] will burst G779 the bottles, G2532 G846 and G1632 [G5701] be spilled, G2532 and G779 the bottles G622 [G5698] shall perish.}

  38 G235 { But G3501 new G3631 wine G992 must be put G1519 into G2537 new G779 bottles; G2532 and G297 both G4933 [G5743] are preserved.}
