And He saith to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, unto death! Abide here, and watch."
And going forward a little, He fell on the ground, and was praying, that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from Him.
And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to Thee; take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what Thou wilt."
And He cometh and findeth them sleeping, and saith to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? were you not able to watch one hour?
Watch, and pray, that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit, indeed, is willing, but the flesh is weak."
And, going away again, He prayed, saying the same thing.
And, returning, He found them again sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they knew not what to answer Him.
And He cometh the third time, and saith to them, "Sleep on the remaining time, and take your rest. It is enough; the hour came; behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Arise, let us be going. Behold, he that is betraying Me has come near."
