Mark 14:34-42

Godbey(i) 34 And He says to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful unto death: abide here, and watch. 35 And having gone forward a little, He fell on the ground; and continued to pray, that if possible, the hour may pass from Him. 36 And He said, Father, Father, all things are possible to thee; take this cup from me; but not what I will, but what thou wilt. 37 And He comes, and finds them sleeping, and He says to Peter, Simon, do you sleep? Were you not able to watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation: for the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 39 And again having gone away, He prayed, speaking the same word. 40 And turning, He found them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what they might respond to Him. 41 And He comes the third time, and says to them; Sleep on, and take your rest: it is over; the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners: 42 arise, let us go: behold, the one having betrayed me draws nigh.
