And He says to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here and watch.”
And having gone forward a little, He fell upon the ground, and was praying that if it is possible, the hour might pass from Him.
And He was saying, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to You; take away this cup from Me; but not what I will, but what You will.”
And He comes and finds them sleeping. And He says to Peter, “Simon are you asleep? Were you not able to watch one hour?
Watch and pray, so that you may not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
And again having gone away, He prayed, having said the same thing.
And again having returned, he found them sleeping. For their the eyes were heavy, and they did not know what they should answer Him.
And He comes the third time and says to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is delivered up into the hands of the sinful.
Rise, let us go. Behold, the one betraying Me has drawn near!”
