he saith to them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even to death. Stay here and watch.
Then having advanced a little further, he prostrated himself on the ground, and prayed, that if it were possible this hour might pass from him.
And he said, Abba, father, all things are possible to thee. Take away this cup from me. Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done.
Then he cometh and findeth them asleep, and saith to Peter, Simon, art thou asleep? Couldst thou not watch one hour?
Watch and pray, that you may not come to a trial. The spirit is indeed willing; but the flesh is weak.

And on returning, he found them again asleep. For their eyes were weighed down, and they did not know what to answer him.
Then he cometh the third time, and saith to them, Are you still asleep and taking rest? It is over. The hour is come. Behold the son of man is delivered into the hands of sinners.
Arise and let us go. Lo! he who delivereth me up is at hand.
