Jeremiah 19:3-11 And say , Hear ye the word of the LORD , O kings of Judah , and inhabitants of Jerusalem ; Thus saith the LORD of hosts , the God of Israel ; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place , the which whosoever heareth , his ears shall tingle .

4 H5800 Because they have forsaken [H8804] H5234 me, and have estranged [H8762] H4725 this place H6999 , and have burned incense [H8762] H312 in it unto other H430 gods H1 , whom neither they nor their fathers H3045 have known [H8804] H4428 , nor the kings H3063 of Judah H4390 , and have filled [H8804] H4725 this place H1818 with the blood H5355 of innocents;

5 H1129 They have built [H8804] H1116 also the high places H1168 of Baal H8313 , to burn [H8800] H1121 their sons H784 with fire H5930 for burnt offerings H1168 unto Baal H6680 , which I commanded [H8765] H1696 not, nor spake [H8765] H5927 it, neither came [H8804] H3820 it into my mind:

6 H3117 Therefore, behold, the days H935 come [H8802] H5002 , saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H4725 , that this place H7121 shall no more be called [H8735] H8612 Tophet H1516 , nor The valley H1121 of the son H2011 of Hinnom H1516 , but The valley H2028 of slaughter.

7 H1238 And I will make void [H8804] H6098 the counsel H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem H4725 in this place H5307 ; and I will cause them to fall [H8689] H2719 by the sword H6440 before H341 their enemies [H8802] H3027 , and by the hands H1245 of them that seek [H8764] H5315 their lives H5038 : and their carcases H5414 will I give [H8804] H3978 to be meat H5775 for the fowls H8064 of the heaven H929 , and for the beasts H776 of the earth.

8 H7760 And I will make [H8804] H5892 this city H8047 desolate H8322 , and an hissing H5674 ; every one that passeth [H8802] H8074 thereby shall be astonished [H8799] H8319 and hiss [H8799] H4347 because of all the plagues thereof.

9 H398 And I will cause them to eat [H8689] H1320 the flesh H1121 of their sons H1320 and the flesh H1323 of their daughters H398 , and they shall eat [H8799] H376 every one H1320 the flesh H7453 of his friend H4692 in the siege H4689 and straitness H341 , wherewith their enemies [H8802] H1245 , and they that seek [H8764] H5315 their lives H6693 , shall straiten [H8686] them.

10 H7665 Then shalt thou break [H8804] H1228 the bottle H5869 in the sight H582 of the men H1980 that go [H8802] with thee,

11 H559 And shalt say [H8804] H559 unto them, Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H3602 ; Even so H7665 will I break [H8799] H5971 this people H5892 and this city H7665 , as one breaketh [H8799] H3335 a potter's [H8802] H3627 vessel H3201 , that cannot [H8799] H7495 be made whole again [H8736] H6912 : and they shall bury [H8799] H8612 them in Tophet H4725 , till there be no place H6912 to bury [H8800] .
