Isaiah 10:7-16

  7 H1819 Howbeit he meaneth [H8762]   H3824 not so, neither doth his heart H2803 think [H8799]   H3824 so; but it is in his heart H8045 to destroy [H8687]   H3772 and cut off [H8687]   H1471 nations H4592 not a few.

  8 H559 For he saith [H8799]   H8269 , Are not my princes H3162 altogether H4428 kings?

  9 H3641 Is not Calno H3751 as Carchemish H2574 ? is not Hamath H774 as Arpad H8111 ? is not Samaria H1834 as Damascus?

  10 H3027 As my hand H4672 hath found [H8804]   H4467 the kingdoms H457 of the idols H6456 , and whose graven images H3389 did excel them of Jerusalem H8111 and of Samaria;

  11 H6213 Shall I not, as I have done [H8804]   H8111 unto Samaria H457 and her idols H6213 , so do [H8799]   H3389 to Jerusalem H6091 and her idols?

  12 H136 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord H1214 hath performed [H8762]   H4639 his whole work H2022 upon mount H6726 Zion H3389 and on Jerusalem H6485 , I will punish [H8799]   H6529 the fruit H1433 of the stout H3824 heart H4428 of the king H804 of Assyria H8597 , and the glory H7312 of his high H5869 looks.

  15 H1631 Shall the axe H6286 boast [H8691]   H2672 itself against him that heweth [H8802]   H4883 therewith? or shall the saw H1431 magnify [H8691]   H5130 itself against him that shaketh [H8688]   H7626 it? as if the rod H5130 should shake [H8687]   H7311 itself against them that lift it up [H8688]   H4294 , or as if the staff H7311 should lift up [H8687]   H6086 itself, as if it were no wood.

  16 H113 Therefore shall the Lord H136 , the Lord [H8676]   H3068   H6635 of hosts H7971 , send [H8762]   H4924 among his fat ones H7332 leanness H3519 ; and under his glory H3344 he shall kindle [H8799]   H3350 a burning H784 like the burning of a fire.
