KJV_Strongs(i)
H8085 Hear [H8798]   H1697 this word H3068 that the LORD H1696 hath spoken [H8765]   H1121 against you, O children H3478 of Israel H4940 , against the whole family H5927 which I brought up [H8689]   H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt H559 , saying [H8800]  ,
H3045 You only have I known [H8804]   H4940 of all the families H127 of the earth H6485 : therefore I will punish [H8799]   H5771 you for all your iniquities.
H8147 Can two H3212 walk [H8799]   H3162 together H1115 , except H3259 they be agreed [H8738]  ?
H738 Will a lion H7580 roar [H8799]   H3293 in the forest H2964 , when he hath no prey H3715 ? will a young lion H5414 cry out [H8799]   H6963   H4585 of his den H3920 , if he have taken [H8804]   H1115 nothing?
H6833 Can a bird H5307 fall [H8799]   H6341 in a snare H776 upon the earth H4170 , where no gin H5927 is for him? shall one take up [H8799]   H6341 a snare H127 from the earth H3920 , and have taken [H8799]   H3920 nothing at all [H8800]  ?
H7782 Shall a trumpet H8628 be blown [H8735]   H5892 in the city H5971 , and the people H2729 not be afraid [H8799]   H7451 ? shall there be evil H5892 in a city H3068 , and the LORD H6213 hath not done [H8804]   it ?
H136 Surely the Lord H3069 GOD H6213 will do [H8799]   H1697 nothing H1540 , but he revealeth [H8804]   H5475 his secret H5650 unto his servants H5030 the prophets.
H738 The lion H7580 hath roared [H8804]   H3808 , who will not H3372 fear [H8799]   H136 ? the Lord H3069 GOD H1696 hath spoken [H8765]   H5012 , who can but prophesy [H8735]  ?
H8085 Publish [H8685]   H759 in the palaces H795 at Ashdod H759 , and in the palaces H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H559 , and say [H8798]   H622 , Assemble [H8734]   H2022 yourselves upon the mountains H8111 of Samaria H7200 , and behold [H8798]   H7227 the great H4103 tumults H7130 in the midst H6217 thereof, and the oppressed H8432 in the midst thereof.
H3045 For they know [H8804]   H6213 not to do [H8800]   H5229 right H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H686 , who store [H8802]   H2555 up violence H7701 and robbery H759 in their palaces.
H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6862 ; An adversary H5439 there shall be even round about H776 the land H3381 ; and he shall bring down [H8689]   H5797 thy strength H759 from thee, and thy palaces H962 shall be spoiled [H8738]  .
H559 Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H7462 ; As the shepherd [H8802]   H5337 taketh out [H8686]   H6310 of the mouth H738 of the lion H8147 two H3767 legs H915 , or a piece H241 of an ear H1121 ; so shall the children H3478 of Israel H5337 be taken out [H8735]   H3427 that dwell [H8802]   H8111 in Samaria H6285 in the corner H4296 of a bed H1833 , and in Damascus H6210 in a couch.
H8085 Hear [H8798]   H5749 ye, and testify [H8685]   H1004 in the house H3290 of Jacob H5002 , saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H430 , the God H6635 of hosts,
H3117 That in the day H6485 that I shall visit [H8800]   H6588 the transgressions H3478 of Israel H6485 upon him I will also visit [H8804]   H4196 the altars H1008 of Bethel H7161 : and the horns H4196 of the altar H1438 shall be cut off [H8738]   H5307 , and fall [H8804]   H776 to the ground.
H5221 And I will smite [H8689]   H2779 the winter H1004 house H7019 with the summer H1004 house H1004 ; and the houses H8127 of ivory H6 shall perish [H8804]   H7227 , and the great H1004 houses H5486 shall have an end [H8804]   H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD.
KJV(i) 1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, 2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. 3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? 4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? 5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? 7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. 8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy? 9 Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. 10 For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. 11 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled. 12 Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. 13 Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts, 14 That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground. 15 And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.
