Amos 3 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel , against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt , saying ,

3 H8147 Can two H3212 walk [H8799] H3162 together H1115 , except H3259 they be agreed [H8738] ?

4 H738 Will a lion H7580 roar [H8799] H3293 in the forest H2964 , when he hath no prey H3715 ? will a young lion H5414 cry out [H8799] H6963 H4585 of his den H3920 , if he have taken [H8804] H1115 nothing?

5 H6833 Can a bird H5307 fall [H8799] H6341 in a snare H776 upon the earth H4170 , where no gin H5927 is for him? shall one take up [H8799] H6341 a snare H127 from the earth H3920 , and have taken [H8799] H3920 nothing at all [H8800] ?

9 H8085 Publish [H8685] H759 in the palaces H795 at Ashdod H759 , and in the palaces H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H559 , and say [H8798] H622 , Assemble [H8734] H2022 yourselves upon the mountains H8111 of Samaria H7200 , and behold [H8798] H7227 the great H4103 tumults H7130 in the midst H6217 thereof, and the oppressed H8432 in the midst thereof.
