H4872 And Moses H1696 spake [H8762]   H7218 unto the heads H4294 of the tribes H1121 concerning the children H3478 of Israel H559 , saying [H8800]   H1697 , This is the thing H3068 which the LORD H6680 hath commanded [H8765]  .
H376 If a man H5087 vow [H8799]   H5088 a vow H3068 unto the LORD H7650 , or swear [H8736]   H7621 an oath H631 to bind [H8800]   H5315 his soul H632 with a bond H2490 ; he shall not break [H8686]   H1697 his word H6213 , he shall do [H8799]   H3318 according to all that proceedeth [H8802]   H6310 out of his mouth.
H802 If a woman H5087 also vow [H8799]   H5088 a vow H3068 unto the LORD H631 , and bind [H8804]   H632 herself by a bond H1 , being in her father's H1004 house H5271 in her youth;
H1 And her father H8085 hear [H8804]   H5088 her vow H632 , and her bond H631 wherewith she hath bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H1 , and her father H2790 shall hold his peace [H8689]   H5088 at her: then all her vows H6965 shall stand [H8804]   H632 , and every bond H631 wherewith she hath bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H6965 shall stand [H8799]  .
H1 But if her father H5106 disallow [H8689]   H3117 her in the day H8085 that he heareth [H8800]   H5088 ; not any of her vows H632 , or of her bonds H631 wherewith she hath bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H6965 , shall stand [H8799]   H3068 : and the LORD H5545 shall forgive [H8799]   H1 her, because her father H5106 disallowed [H8689]   her.
H376 And if she had at all an husband H5088 , when she vowed H4008 , or uttered H8193 ought out of her lips H631 , wherewith she bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul;
H376 And her husband H8085 heard [H8804]   H2790 it, and held his peace [H8689]   H3117 at her in the day H8085 that he heard [H8800]   H5088 it : then her vows H6965 shall stand [H8804]   H632 , and her bonds H631 wherewith she bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H6965 shall stand [H8799]  .
H376 But if her husband H5106 disallowed [H8686]   H3117 her on the day H8085 that he heard [H8800]   H5088 it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed H4008 , and that which she uttered H8193 with her lips H631 , wherewith she bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H6565 , of none effect [H8689]   H3068 : and the LORD H5545 shall forgive [H8799]   her.
H5088 But every vow H490 of a widow H1644 , and of her that is divorced [H8803]   H631 , wherewith they have bound [H8804]   H5315 their souls H6965 , shall stand [H8799]   against her.
H5087 And if she vowed [H8804]   H376 in her husband's H1004 house H631 , or bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H632 by a bond H7621 with an oath;
H376 And her husband H8085 heard [H8804]   H2790 it, and held his peace [H8689]   H5106 at her, and disallowed [H8689]   H5088 her not: then all her vows H6965 shall stand [H8799]   H632 , and every bond H631 wherewith she bound [H8804]   H5315 her soul H6965 shall stand [H8804]  .
H376 But if her husband H6565 hath utterly [H8687]   H6565 made them void [H8686]   H3117 on the day H8085 he heard [H8800]   H4161 them; then whatsoever proceeded H8193 out of her lips H5088 concerning her vows H632 , or concerning the bond H5315 of her soul H6965 , shall not stand [H8799]   H376 : her husband H6565 hath made them void [H8689]   H3068 ; and the LORD H5545 shall forgive [H8799]   her.
H5088 Every vow H632 , and every binding H7621 oath H6031 to afflict [H8763]   H5315 the soul H376 , her husband H6965 may establish [H8686]   H376 it, or her husband H6565 may make it void [H8686]  .
H376 But if her husband H2790 altogether [H8687]   H2790 hold his peace [H8686]   H3117 at her from day H3117 to day H6965 ; then he establisheth [H8689]   H5088 all her vows H632 , or all her bonds H6965 , which are upon her: he confirmeth [H8689]   H2790 them, because he held his peace [H8689]   H3117 at her in the day H8085 that he heard [H8800]   them .
H6565 But if he shall any ways [H8687]   H6565 make them void [H8686]   H310 after H8085 that he hath heard [H8800]   H5375 them; then he shall bear [H8804]   H5771 her iniquity.
H2706 These are the statutes H3068 , which the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765]   H4872 Moses H376 , between a man H802 and his wife H1 , between the father H1323 and his daughter H5271 , being yet in her youth H1 in her father's H1004 house.
ERV(i) 1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded. 2 When a man voweth a vow unto the LORD, or sweareth an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. 3 Also when a woman voweth a vow unto the LORD, and bindeth herself by a bond, being in her father’s house, in her youth; 4 and her father heareth her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father holdeth his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. 5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; none of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. 6 And if she be [married] to a husband, while her vows are upon her, or the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul; 7 and her husband hear it, and hold his peace at her in the day that he heareth it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. 8 But if her husband disallow her in the day that he heareth it; then he shall make void her vow which is upon her, and the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul: and the LORD shall forgive her. 9 But the vow of a widow, or of her that is divorced, [even] every thing wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand against her. 10 And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath, 11 and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. 12 But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her. 13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void. 14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he hath established them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. 15 But if he shall make them null and void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity. 16 These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father’s house.
