Numbers 30 Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, "This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded.

1 H4872 Moses H1696 spoke H7218 to the heads H4294 of the tribes H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel, H559 saying, H1697 "This is the thing H3068 which Yahweh H6680 has commanded.

2 H376 When a man H5087 vows H5088 a vow H3068 to Yahweh, H7650 or swears H7621 an oath H631 to bind H5315 his soul H632 with a bond, H2490 he shall not break H1697 his word; H6213 he shall do H3318 according to all that proceeds H6310 out of his mouth.

3 H802 "Also when a woman H5087 vows H5088 a vow H3068 to Yahweh, H631 and binds H632 herself by a bond, H1 being in her father's H1004 house, H5271 in her youth,

4 H1 and her father H8085 hears H5088 her vow, H632 and her bond H631 with which she has bound H5315 her soul, H1 and her father H2790 holds his peace H5088 at her; then all her vows H6965 shall stand, H632 and every bond H631 with which she has bound H5315 her soul H6965 shall stand.

5 H1 But if her father H5106 disallow H3117 her in the day H8085 that he hears, H5088 none of her vows, H632 or of her bonds H631 with which she has bound H5315 her soul, H6965 shall stand: H3068 and Yahweh H5545 will forgive H1 her, because her father H5106 disallowed her.

6 H376 "If she has a husband, H5088 while her vows H4008 are on her, or the rash utterance H8193 of her lips, H631 with which she has bound H5315 her soul,

7 H376 and her husband H8085 hears H2790 it, and hold his peace H3117 at her in the day H8085 that he hears H5088 it; then her vows H6965 shall stand, H632 and her bonds H631 with which she has bound H5315 her soul H6965 shall stand.

8 H376 But if her husband H5106 forbids H3117 her in the day H8085 that he hears H4008 it, then he shall make void her vow which is on her, and the rash utterance H8193 of her lips, H631 with which she has bound H5315 her soul: H3068 and Yahweh H5545 will forgive her.

9 H5088 "But the vow H490 of a widow, H1644 or of her who is divorced, H631 everything with which she has bound H5315 her soul, H6965 shall stand against her.

10 H5087 "If she vowed H376 in her husband's H1004 house, H631 or bound H5315 her soul H632 by a bond H7621 with an oath,

11 H376 and her husband H8085 heard H2790 it, and held his peace H5106 at her, and didn't disallow H5088 her; then all her vows H6965 shall stand, H632 and every bond H631 with which she bound H5315 her soul H6965 shall stand.

12 H376 But if her husband H6565 made H6565 them null and void H3117 in the day H8085 that he heard H4161 them, then whatever proceeded H8193 out of her lips H5088 concerning her vows, H632 or concerning the bond H5315 of her soul, H6965 shall not stand: H376 her husband H6565 has made them void; H3068 and Yahweh H5545 will forgive her.

13 H5088 Every vow, H632 and every binding H7621 oath H6031 to afflict H5315 the soul, H376 her husband H6965 may establish H376 it, or her husband H6565 may make it void.

14 H376 But if her husband H2790 altogether H2790 hold his peace H3117 at her from day H3117 to day, H6965 then he establishes H5088 all her vows, H632 or all her bonds, H6965 which are on her: he has established H2790 them, because he held his peace H3117 at her in the day H8085 that he heard them.

15 H6565 But if he shall make H6565 them null and void H310 after H8085 that he has heard H5375 them, then he shall bear H5771 her iniquity."

16 H2706 These are the statutes, H3068 which Yahweh H6680 commanded H4872 Moses, H376 between a man H802 and his wife, H1 between a father H1323 and his daughter, H5271 being in her youth, H1 in her father's H1004 house.
