1 Kings 13:22-34 But came back, and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to you, Eat no bread, and drink no water; your carcass shall not come unto the tomb of your fathers.

23 H310 And it came to pass, after H398 he had eaten H3899 bread, H310 and after H8354 he had drunk, H2280 that he saddled H2543 for him the donkey, H5030 to know, for the prophet H7725 whom he had brought back.

24 H3212 And when he was gone, H738 a lion H4672 met H1870 him by the way, H4191 and killed H5038 him: and his carcass H7993 was cast H1870 in the way, H2543 and the donkey H5975 stood H681 by H738 it, the lion H5975 also stood H5038 by the carcass.

25 H582 And, behold, men H5674 passed by, H7200 and saw H5038 the carcass H7993 cast H1870 in the way, H738 and the lion H5975 standing H681 by H5038 the carcass: H935 and they came H1696 and told H5892 it in the city H2205 where the old H5030 prophet H3427 lived.

26 H5030 And when the prophet H7725 that brought him back H1870 from the way H8085 heard H559 there, he said, H376 It is the man H430 of God, H4784 who was disobedient H6310 unto the word H3068 of the Lord: H3068 therefore the Lord H5414 has delivered H738 him unto the lion, H7665 which has torn H4191 him, and slain H1697 him, according to the word H3068 of the Lord, H1696 which he spoke unto him.

27 H1696 And he spoke H1121 to his sons, H559 saying, H2280 Saddle H2543 me the donkey. H2280 And they saddled him.

28 H3212 And he went H4672 and found H5038 his carcass H7993 cast H1870 in the way, H2543 and the donkey H738 and the lion H5975 standing H681 by H5038 the carcass: H738 the lion H398 had not eaten H5038 the carcass, H7665 nor torn H2543 the donkey.

29 H5030 And the prophet H5375 took up H5038 the carcass H376 of the man H430 of God, H3240 and laid H2543 it upon the donkey, H7725 and brought it back: H2205 and the old H5030 prophet H935 came H5892 to the city, H5594 to mourn H6912 and to bury him.

30 H3240 And he laid H5038 his carcass H6913 in his own grave; H5594 and they mourned H1945 over him, saying, Alas, H251 my brother!

31 H310 And it came to pass, after H6912 he had buried H559 him, that he spoke H1121 to his sons, H559 saying, H4191 When I am dead, H6912 then bury H6913 me in the tomb H376 where the man H430 of God H6912 is buried; H3240 lay H6106 my bones H681 beside H6106 his bones:

32 H1697 For the saying H7121 which he cried H1697 by the word H3068 of the Lord H4196 against the altar H1008 in Beth–el, H1004 and against all the houses H1116 of the high places H5892 which are in the cities H8111 of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

33 H310 After H1697 this thing H3379 Jeroboam H7725 returned H7451 not from his evil H1870 way, H6213 but made H7725 again H7098 of the lowest H5971 of the people H3548 priests H1116 of the high places: H2655 whoever would, H4390 he consecrated H3548 him, and he became one of the priests H1116 of the high places.

34 H1697 And this thing H2403 became sin H1004 unto the house H3379 of Jeroboam, H3582 even to cut it off, H8045 and to destroy H6440 it from off the face H127 of the earth.
