Luke 2:1-14

  1 G1096 And it came to pass G1161   G1722 in G3588   G2250 those days, G1565   G1831 went forth G1378 a decree G3844 by G* Caesar G* Augustus G583 to register G3956 all G3588 the G3611 habitable world.

  2 G3778 This G3588   G582 census G4413 first G1096 took place G2230 [²governing G3588   G* ³Syria G* ¹of Cyrenius].

  3 G2532 And G4198 all went forth G3956   G583 to register G1538 each G1519 unto G3588   G2398 his own G4172 city.

  4 G305 [⁴ascended G1161 ¹And G2532 ³also G* ²Joseph] G575 from G3588   G* Galilee, G1537 from out of G4172 the city G* of Nazareth G1519 into G3588   G* Judea, G1519 unto G4172 the city G* of David, G3748 which G2564 is called G* Bethlehem, G1223 (on account of G3588   G1510.1 his being G1473   G1537 from G3624 the house G2532 and G3965 family G* of David),

  5 G583 to be registered G4862 with G* Mary, G3588 to the one G3423 being espoused G1473 to him G1135 as wife, G1510.6 being G1471 pregnant.

  6 G1096 And it came to pass G1161   G1722 in G3588   G1510.1 their being G1473   G1563 there, G4130 [³were fulfilled G3588 ¹the G2250 ²days] G3588 of G5088 her to give birth. G1473  

  7 G2532 And G5088 she gave birth to G3588   G5207 her son G1473   G3588 the G4416 first-born, G2532 and G4683 she swaddled him, G1473   G2532 and G347 laid G1473 him G1722 in G3588 the G5336 stable, G1360 because G3756 there was no G1510.7.3   G1473 place for them G5117   G1722 in G3588 the G2646 lodging.

  8 G2532 And G4166 shepherds G1510.7.6 were G1722 in G3588 the G5561 same place G3588   G1473   G63 living outdoors G2532 and G5442 keeping G5438 watches G3588 at G3571 night G1909 over G3588   G4167 their flock. G1473  

  9 G2532 And G2400 behold, G32 an angel G2962 of the Lord G2186 stood by G1473 them, G2532 and G1391 glory G2962 of the Lord G4034 shone about G1473 them, G2532 and G5399 they feared G5401 [²fear G3173 ¹a great].

  10 G2532 And G2036 [³said G1473 ⁴to them G3588 ¹the G32 ²angel], G3361 Fear not! G5399   G2400 for behold G1063   G2097 I announce to you good news -- G1473   G5479 [²joy G3173 ¹great] G3748 which G1510.8.3 shall be G3956 to all G3588   G2992 people.

  11 G3754 For G5088 was born G1473 to you G4594 today G4990 a deliverer G3739 who G1510.2.3 is G5547 Christ G2962 the Lord, G1722 in G4172 the city G* of David.

  12 G2532 And G3778 this G1473 [³to you G3588 ¹ is the G4592 ²sign]; G2147 you shall find G1025 the babe G4683 being swaddled, G2749 lying G1722 in G5336 a stable.

  13 G2532 And G1810 suddenly G1096 there was G4862 with G3588 the G32 angel G4128 a multitude G4756 [²military G3770 ¹of heavenly] G134 praising G3588   G2316 God, G2532 and G3004 saying,

  14 G1391 Glory G1722 in G5310 the highest G2316 to God, G2532 and G1909 upon G1093 earth G1515 peace, G1722 among G444 men G2107 with benevolence.
