Acts 4:5-22

  5 G1096 And it came to pass G1161   G1909 on G3588 the G839 morrow, G4863 [³gathered together G1473 ¹their G3588   G758 ²rulers], G2532 and G4245 elders, G2532 and G1122 scribes G1519 in G* Jerusalem,

  6 G2532 and G* Annas G3588 the G749 chief priest, G2532 and G* Caiaphas, G2532 and G* John, G2532 and G* Alexander, G2532 and G3745 as many as G1510.7.6 were G1537 of G1085 the family G748 of the chief priest.

  7 G2532 And G2476 having stood G1473 them G1722 in G3588 the G3319 midst, G4441 they inquired, G1722 By G4169 what G1411 power, G2228 or G1722 in G4169 whose G3686 name G4160 do G3778 you this? G1473  

  8 G5119 Then G* Peter, G4130 filled G4151 [²spirit G39 ¹of holy], G2036 said G4314 to G1473 them, G758 Rulers G3588 of the G2992 people, G2532 and G4245 elders G3588   G* of Israel.

  9 G1487 If G1473 we G4594 today G350 are questioned G1909 about G2108 a good work G444 [²man G772 ¹of the infirm], G1722 by G5100 how G3778 this one G4982 was delivered;

  10 G1110 let it be made known G1510.5   G3956 to you all, G1473   G2532 and G3956 to all G3588 the G2992 people G* of Israel, G3754 that G1722 in G3588 the G3686 name G* of Jesus G5547 Christ G3588 the G* Nazarene, G3739 whom G1473 you G4717 crucified, G3739 whom G3588   G2316 God G1453 raised G1537 from G3498 the dead, G1722 by G3778 this one G3778 this man G3936 stands G1799 before G1473 you G5199 in health.

  11 G3778 This one G1510.2.3 is G3588 the G3037 stone G3588   G1848 being treated with contempt G5259 by G1473 you G3588 the ones G3618 building, G3588 the one G1096 becoming G1519 for G2776 head G1137 of the corner.

  12 G2532 And G3756 there is not G1510.2.3   G1722 [²in G243 ⁴other G3762 ³no one G3588   G4991 ¹deliverance]; G3777 for neither G1063   G3686 [³name G1510.2.3 ¹is there G2087 ²another] G5259 under G3588   G3772 heaven G3588   G1325 being given G1722 to G444 men G1722 by G3739 which G1163 [²must G4982 ³be delivered G1473 ¹we].

  13 G2334 And viewing G1161   G3588 the G3588   G* open manner of Peter G3954   G2532 and G* John, G2532 and G2638 taking it in G3754 that G444 [³men G62 ²illiterate G1510.2.6 ¹they are] G2532 and G2399 common people, G2296 they marvelled; G1921 and they recognized G5037   G1473 them, G3754 that G4862 [²with G3588   G* ³Jesus G1510.7.6 ¹they were].

  14 G3588 [³the G1161 ¹But G444 ⁴man G991 ²seeing] G4862 with G1473 them G2476 standing, G3588 the one G2323 having been cured, G3762 [²nothing G2192 ¹they had] G471 to contradict.

  15 G2753 And having bid G1161   G1473 them G1854 [²outside G3588 ³the G4892 ⁴sanhedrin G565 ¹to go forth], G4820 they engaged G4314 with G240 one another,

  16 G3004 saying, G5100 What G4160 shall we do G3588   G444 to these men?   17 G235 But G2443 that G3361 [²not G1909 ⁴unto G4183 ⁵more G1268 ¹it should ³be spread] G1519 among G3588 the G2992 people, G547 with intimidation G546 we should press G1473 upon them, G3371 to no longer G2980 speak G1909 in G3588   G3686 this name G3778   G3367 to not one G444 of men.

  18 G2532 And G2564 having called G1473 them, G3853 they summoned G1473 them G3588   G2527 [³altogether G3361 ¹to not G5350 ²utter a sound] G3366 nor G1321 to teach G1909 in G3588 the G3686 name G3588   G* of Jesus.

  19 G3588   G1161 But G* Peter G2532 and G* John G611 answering G4314 to G1473 them G2036 said, G1487 If G1342 it is just G510.2.3   G1799 before G3588   G2316 God G1473 to hearken to you G191   G3123 rather G2228 than G3588   G2316 God, G2919 you judge!

  20 G3756 [³are not G1410 ⁴able G1063 ¹For G1473 ²we] G3739 what G1492 we know G2532 and G191 hear G3361 to not G2980 speak.

  21 G3588 And the one G1161   G4324 adding threats G630 released G1473 them, G3367 [²nothing G2147 ¹finding] G3588   G4459 how G2849 they shall punish G1473 them, G1223 on account of G3588 the G2992 people. G3754 For G3956 all G1392 glorified G3588   G2316 God G1909 over G3588 the thing G1096 having taken place.

  22 G2094 [⁷years old G1063 ¹For G1510.7.3 ⁴was G4183 ⁵more than G5062 ⁶forty G3588 ²the G444 ³man] G1909 upon G3739 which G1096 had taken place G3588   G4592 this sign G3778   G3588   G2392 of healing.
