Luke 20:27-40

  27 G1161 Then G4334 came [G5631]   G5100 to him certain G4523 of the Sadducees G3588 , which G483 deny [G5723]   G1511 that there is [G5750]   G3361 any G386 resurrection G1905 ; and they asked [G5656]   G846 him,

  28 G3004 Saying [G5723]   G1320 , Master G3475 , Moses G1125 wrote [G5656]   G2254 unto us G1437 , If G5100 any man's G80 brother G599 die [G5632]   G2192 , having [G5723]   G1135 a wife G2532 , and G3778 he G599 die [G5632]   G815 without children G2443 , that G846 his G80 brother G2983 should take [G5632]   G1135 his wife G2532 , and G1817 raise up [G5661]   G4690 seed G846 unto his G80 brother.

  29 G2258 There were [G5713]   G3767 therefore G2033 seven G80 brethren G2532 : and G4413 the first G2983 took [G5631]   G1135 a wife G599 , and died [G5627]   G815 without children.

  30 G2532 And G1208 the second G2983 took [G5627]   G1135 her to wife G2532 , and G3778 he G599 died [G5627]   G815 childless.

  31 G2532 And G5154 the third G2983 took [G5627]   G846 her G1161 ; and G5615 in like manner G2033 the seven G2532 also G2641 : and they left [G5627]   G3756 no G5043 children G2532 , and G599 died [G5627]  .

  32 G1161   G5305 Last G3956 of all G1135 the woman G599 died [G5627]   G2532 also.

  33 G3767 Therefore G1722 in G386 the resurrection G5101 whose G1135 wife G846 of them G1096 is she [G5736]   G1063 ? for G2033 seven G2192 had [G5627]   G846 her G1135 to wife.

  34 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G611 answering [G5679]   G2036 said [G5627]   G846 unto them G5207 , The children G5127 of this G165 world G1060 marry [G5719]   G2532 , and G1548 are given in marriage [G5743]  :

  35 G1161 But G2661 they which shall be accounted worthy [G5685]   G5177 to obtain [G5629]   G1565 that G165 world G2532 , and G386 the resurrection G1537 from G3498 the dead G3777 , neither G1060 marry [G5719]   G3777 , nor G1548 are given in marriage [G5743]  :

  36 G3777 Neither G1063   G1410 can [G5736]   G599 they die [G5629]   G2089 any more G1063 : for G1526 they are [G5748]   G2465 equal unto the angels G2532 ; and G1526 are [G5748]   G5207 the children G2316 of God G5607 , being [G5752]   G5207 the children G386 of the resurrection.

  39 G1161 Then G5100 certain G1122 of the scribes G611 answering [G5679]   G2036 said [G5627]   G1320 , Master G2573 , thou hast well G2036 said [G5627]  .

  40 G1161 And G3765 after that G5111 they durst [G5707]   G3765 not G1905 ask [G5721]   G846 him G3762 any question at all .
