Acts 11:1-18 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

2 G2532 And G3753 when G4074 Peter G305 was come up [G5627] G1519 to G2414 Jerusalem G1537 , they that were of G4061 the circumcision G1252 contended [G5710] G4314 with G846 him,

3 G3004 Saying [G5723] G3754 , G1525 Thou wentest in [G5627] G4314 to G435 men G203 uncircumcised G2192 [G5723] G2532 , and G4906 didst eat [G5627] G846 with them.

4 G1161 But G4074 Peter G756 rehearsed the matter from the beginning [G5671] G1620 , and expounded [G5710] G2517 it by order G846 unto them G3004 , saying [G5723] ,

5 G1473 I G2252 was [G5713] G1722 in G4172 the city G2445 of Joppa G4336 praying [G5740] G2532 : and G1722 in G1611 a trance G1492 I saw [G5627] G3705 a vision G5100 , A certain G4632 vessel G2597 descend [G5723] G5613 , as it had been G3173 a great G3607 sheet G2524 , let down [G5746] G1537 from G3772 heaven G5064 by four G746 corners G2532 ; and G2064 it came [G5627] G891 even G1700 to me:

6 G1519 Upon G3739 the which G816 when I had fastened mine eyes [G5660] G2657 , I considered [G5707] G2532 , and G1492 saw [G5627] G5074 fourfooted beasts G1093 of the earth G2532 , and G2342 wild beasts G2532 , and G2062 creeping things G2532 , and G4071 fowls G3772 of the air.

7 G1161 And G191 I heard [G5656] G5456 a voice G3004 saying [G5723] G3427 unto me G450 , Arise [G5631] G4074 , Peter G2380 ; slay [G5657] G2532 and G5315 eat [G5628] .

8 G1161 But G2036 I said [G5627] G3365 , Not so G2962 , Lord G3754 : for G3956 nothing G2839 common G2228 or G169 unclean G1525 hath G3763 at any time G1525 entered [G5627] G1519 into G3450 my G4750 mouth.

9 G1161 But G5456 the voice G611 answered [G5662] G3427 me G1537 again G1208 G1537 from G3772 heaven G3739 , What G2316 God G2511 hath cleansed [G5656] G2840 , that call G3361 not G4771 thou G2840 common [G5720] .

10 G1161 And G5124 this G1096 was done [G5633] G1909 G5151 three times G2532 : and G537 all G385 were drawn up [G5681] G3825 again G1519 into G3772 heaven.

13 G5037 And G518 he shewed [G5656] G2254 us G4459 how G1492 he had seen [G5627] G32 an angel G1722 in G846 his G3624 house G2476 , which stood [G5685] G2532 and G2036 said [G5631] G846 unto him G649 , Send [G5657] G435 men G1519 to G2445 Joppa G2532 , and G3343 call for [G5663] G4613 Simon G1941 , whose surname is [G5746] G4074 Peter;

14 G3739 Who G2980 shall tell [G5692] G4314 thee G4571 G4487 words G1722 , whereby G3739 G4771 thou G2532 and G3956 all G4675 thy G3624 house G4982 shall be saved [G5701] .

15 G1161 And G1722 as G3165 I G756 began [G5670] G2980 to speak [G5721] G40 , the Holy G4151 Ghost G1968 fell [G5627] G1909 on G846 them G5618 , as G2532 G1909 on G2248 us G1722 at G746 the beginning.

16 G1161 Then G3415 remembered I [G5681] G4487 the word G2962 of the Lord G5613 , how G3004 that he said [G5707] G2491 , John G3303 indeed G907 baptized [G5656] G5204 with water G1161 ; but G5210 ye G907 shall be baptized [G5701] G1722 with G40 the Holy G4151 Ghost.

17 G1487 Forasmuch G3767 then G5613 as G2316 God G1325 gave [G5656] G846 them G2470 the like G1431 gift G2532 as G2254 he did unto us G4100 , who believed [G5660] G1909 on G2962 the Lord G2424 Jesus G5547 Christ G1161 ; G5101 what G2252 was [G5713] G1473 I G1415 , that I could G2967 withstand [G5658] G2316 God?

18 G1161 When G191 they heard [G5660] G5023 these things G2270 , they held their peace [G5656] G2532 , and G1392 glorified [G5707] G2316 God G3004 , saying [G5723] G686 , Then G1325 hath G2316 God G2534 also G1484 to the Gentiles G1325 granted [G5656] G3341 repentance G1519 unto G2222 life.
