Jeremiah 27:2-22 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes , and put them upon thy neck,

3 H7971 And send [H8765] H4428 them to the king H123 of Edom H4428 , and to the king H4124 of Moab H4428 , and to the king H1121 of the Ammonites H5983 H4428 , and to the king H6865 of Tyrus H4428 , and to the king H6721 of Zidon H3027 , by the hand H4397 of the messengers H935 which come [H8802] H3389 to Jerusalem H6667 unto Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah;

4 H6680 And command [H8765] H559 them to say [H8800] H113 unto their masters H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H559 ; Thus shall ye say [H8799] H113 unto your masters;

5 H6213 I have made [H8804] H776 the earth H120 , the man H929 and the beast H6440 that are upon H776 the ground H1419 , by my great H3581 power H5186 and by my outstretched [H8803] H2220 arm H5414 , and have given [H8804] H5869 it unto whom it seemed H3474 meet [H8804] unto me.

6 H5414 And now have I given [H8804] H776 all these lands H3027 into the hand H5019 of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H5650 , my servant H2416 ; and the beasts H7704 of the field H5414 have I given [H8804] H5647 him also to serve [H8800] him.

7 H1471 And all nations H5647 shall serve [H8804] H1121 him, and his son H1121 , and his son's H1121 son H6256 , until the very time H776 of his land H935 come [H8800] H7227 : and then many H1471 nations H1419 and great H4428 kings H5647 shall serve [H8804] themselves of him.

8 H1471 And it shall come to pass, that the nation H4467 and kingdom H5647 which will not serve [H8799] H5019 the same Nebuchadnezzar H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H5414 , and that will not put [H8799] H6677 their neck H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon H1471 , that nation H6485 will I punish [H8799] H5002 , saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H2719 , with the sword H7458 , and with the famine H1698 , and with the pestilence H8552 , until I have consumed [H8800] H3027 them by his hand.

9 H8085 Therefore hearken [H8799] H5030 not ye to your prophets H7080 , nor to your diviners [H8802] H2472 , nor to your dreamers H6049 , nor to your enchanters [H8781] H3786 , nor to your sorcerers H559 , which speak [H8802] H559 unto you, saying [H8800] H5647 , Ye shall not serve [H8799] H4428 the king H894 of Babylon:

10 H5012 For they prophesy [H8737] H8267 a lie H7368 unto you, to remove you far [H8687] H127 from your land H5080 ; and that I should drive you out [H8689] H6 , and ye should perish [H8804] .

11 H1471 But the nations H935 that bring [H8686] H6677 their neck H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon H5647 , and serve [H8804] H3240 him, those will I let remain still [H8689] H127 in their own land H5002 , saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H5647 ; and they shall till [H8804] H3427 it, and dwell [H8804] therein.

12 H1696 I spake [H8765] H6667 also to Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H1697 according to all these words H559 , saying [H8800] H935 , Bring [H8685] H6677 your necks H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon H5647 , and serve [H8798] H5971 him and his people H2421 , and live [H8798] .

13 H4191 Why will ye die [H8799] H5971 , thou and thy people H2719 , by the sword H7458 , by the famine H1698 , and by the pestilence H3068 , as the LORD H1696 hath spoken [H8765] H1471 against the nation H5647 that will not serve [H8799] H4428 the king H894 of Babylon?

14 H8085 Therefore hearken [H8799] H1697 not unto the words H5030 of the prophets H559 that speak [H8802] H559 unto you, saying [H8800] H5647 , Ye shall not serve [H8799] H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H5012 : for they prophesy [H8737] H8267 a lie unto you.

15 H7971 For I have not sent [H8804] H5002 them, saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H5012 , yet they prophesy [H8737] H8267 a lie H8034 in my name H5080 ; that I might drive you out [H8687] H6 , and that ye might perish [H8804] H5030 , ye, and the prophets H5012 that prophesy [H8737] unto you.

16 H1696 Also I spake [H8765] H3548 to the priests H5971 and to all this people H559 , saying [H8800] H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H8085 ; Hearken [H8799] H1697 not to the words H5030 of your prophets H5012 that prophesy [H8737] H559 unto you, saying [H8800] H3627 , Behold, the vessels H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H4120 shall now shortly H7725 be brought again [H8716] H894 from Babylon H5012 : for they prophesy [H8737] H8267 a lie unto you.

17 H8085 Hearken [H8799] H5647 not unto them; serve [H8798] H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H2421 , and live [H8798] H5892 : wherefore should this city H2723 be laid waste?

18 H5030 But if they be prophets H1697 , and if the word H3068 of the LORD H3426 be H6293 with them, let them now make intercession [H8799] H3068 to the LORD H6635 of hosts H3627 , that the vessels H3498 which are left [H8737] H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah H3389 , and at Jerusalem H935 , go [H8804] H894 not to Babylon.

19 H559 For thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H5982 concerning the pillars H3220 , and concerning the sea H4350 , and concerning the bases H3499 , and concerning the residue H3627 of the vessels H3498 that remain [H8737] H5892 in this city,

20 H5019 Which Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H3947 took [H8804] H1540 not, when he carried away captive [H8687] H3204 Jeconiah H1121 the son H3079 of Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H3389 from Jerusalem H894 to Babylon H2715 , and all the nobles H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem;

21 H559 Yea, thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H3627 , concerning the vessels H3498 that remain [H8737] H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah H3389 and of Jerusalem;

22 H935 They shall be carried [H8714] H894 to Babylon H3117 , and there shall they be until the day H6485 that I visit [H8800] H5002 them, saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H5927 ; then will I bring [H8689] H7725 them up, and restore [H8689] H4725 them to this place.
