Nehemiah 10:29-39 They clave to their brethren , their nobles , and entered into a curse , and into an oath , to walk in God's law , which was given by Moses the servant of God , and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord , and his judgments and his statutes;

31 H5971 And if the people H776 of the land H935 bring [H8688] H4728 ware H7668 or any victuals H7676 on the sabbath H3117 day H4376 to sell [H8800] H3947 , that we would not buy [H8799] H7676 it of them on the sabbath H6944 , or on the holy H3117 day H5203 : and that we would leave [H8799] H7637 the seventh H8141 year H4853 , and the exaction H3027 of every debt.

34 H5307 And we cast [H8689] H1486 the lots H3548 among the priests H3881 , the Levites H5971 , and the people H6086 , for the wood H7133 offering H935 , to bring [H8687] H1004 it into the house H430 of our God H1004 , after the houses H1 of our fathers H6256 , at times H2163 appointed [H8794] H8141 year H8141 by year H1197 , to burn [H8763] H4196 upon the altar H3068 of the LORD H430 our God H3789 , as it is written [H8803] H8451 in the law:

35 H935 And to bring [H8687] H1061 the firstfruits H127 of our ground H1061 , and the firstfruits H6529 of all fruit H6086 of all trees H8141 , year H8141 by year H1004 , unto the house H3068 of the LORD:

36 H1060 Also the firstborn H1121 of our sons H929 , and of our cattle H3789 , as it is written [H8803] H8451 in the law H1062 , and the firstlings H1241 of our herds H6629 and of our flocks H935 , to bring [H8687] H1004 to the house H430 of our God H3548 , unto the priests H8334 that minister [H8764] H1004 in the house H430 of our God:

37 H935 And that we should bring [H8686] H7225 the firstfruits H6182 of our dough H8641 , and our offerings H6529 , and the fruit H6086 of all manner of trees H8492 , of wine H3323 and of oil H3548 , unto the priests H3957 , to the chambers H1004 of the house H430 of our God H4643 ; and the tithes H127 of our ground H3881 unto the Levites H3881 , that the same Levites H6237 might have the tithes [H8764] H5892 in all the cities H5656 of our tillage.

38 H3548 And the priest H1121 the son H175 of Aaron H3881 shall be with the Levites H3881 , when the Levites H6237 take tithes [H8687] H3881 : and the Levites H5927 shall bring up [H8686] H4643 the tithe H4643 of the tithes H1004 unto the house H430 of our God H3957 , to the chambers H214 , into the treasure H1004 house.

39 H1121 For the children H3478 of Israel H1121 and the children H3878 of Levi H935 shall bring [H8686] H8641 the offering H1715 of the corn H8492 , of the new wine H3323 , and the oil H3957 , unto the chambers H3627 , where are the vessels H4720 of the sanctuary H3548 , and the priests H8334 that minister [H8764] H7778 , and the porters H7891 , and the singers [H8789] H5800 : and we will not forsake [H8799] H1004 the house H430 of our God.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁹ They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and to do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes; ³⁰ and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons: ³¹ and if the peoples of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day: and that we would forgo the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt. ³² Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God; ³³ for the shewbread, and for the continual meal offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God. ³⁴ And we cast lots, the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law: ³⁵ and to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD: ³⁶ also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God: ³⁷ and that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our heave offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, the wine and the oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. ³⁸ And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house. ³⁹ For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the heave offering of the corn, of the wine, and of the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
