  13 H1571 וגם And also H853 את   H4601 מעכה Maachah H517 אמו his mother, H5493 ויסרה even her he removed H1377 מגבירה from queen, H834 אשׁר because H6213 עשׂתה she had made H4656 מפלצת an idol H842 לאשׁרה in a grove; H3772 ויכרת destroyed H609 אסא and Asa H853 את   H4656 מפלצתה her idol, H8313 וישׂרף and burnt H5158 בנחל by the brook H6939 קדרון׃ Kidron.
  14 H1116 והבמות But the high places H3808 לא were not H5493 סרו removed: H7535 רק nevertheless H3824 לבב heart H609 אסא Asa's H1961 היה was H8003 שׁלם perfect H5973 עם with H3069 יהוה   H3605 כל all H3117 ימיו׃ his days.
  15 H935 ויבא And he brought in H853 את   H6944 קדשׁי had dedicated, H1 אביו the things which his father H6944 וקדשׁו and the things which himself had dedicated, H1004 בית into the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3701 כסף silver, H2091 וזהב and gold, H3627 וכלים׃ and vessels.
  16 H4421 ומלחמה war H1961 היתה And there was H996 בין between H609 אסא Asa H996 ובין   H1201 בעשׁא and Baasha H4428 מלך king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3605 כל all H3117 ימיהם׃ their days.
  17 H5927 ויעל went up H1201 בעשׁא And Baasha H4428 מלך king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5921 על against H3063 יהודה Judah, H1129 ויבן and built H853 את   H7414 הרמה Ramah, H1115 לבלתי that he might not H5414 תת suffer H3318 יצא any to go out H935 ובא or come in H609 לאסא to Asa H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah.
  18 H3947 ויקח took H609 אסא Then Asa H853 את   H3605 כל all H3701 הכסף the silver H2091 והזהב and the gold H3498 הנותרים left H214 באוצרות in the treasures H1004 בית of the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H853 ואת   H214 אוצרות and the treasures H1004 בית house, H4428 מלך of the king's H5414 ויתנם and delivered H3027 ביד them into the hand H5650 עבדיו of his servants: H7971 וישׁלחם sent H4428 המלך and king H609 אסא Asa H413 אל them to H1130 בן הדד Ben-hadad, H1121 בן the son H2886 טברמן of Tabrimon, H1121 בן the son H2383 חזיון of Hezion, H4428 מלך king H758 ארם of Syria, H3427 הישׁב that dwelt H1834 בדמשׂק at Damascus, H559 לאמר׃ saying,
  19 H1285 ברית a league H996 ביני between H996 ובינך me and thee, between H996 בין   H1 אבי my father H996 ובין   H1 אביך and thy father: H2009 הנה behold, H7971 שׁלחתי I have sent H7810 לך שׁחד unto thee a present H3701 כסף of silver H2091 וזהב and gold; H1980 לך come H6565 הפרה and break H853 את   H1285 בריתך thy league H854 את with H1201 בעשׁא Baasha H4428 מלך king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5927 ויעלה that he may depart H5921 מעלי׃ from
  20 H8085 וישׁמע hearkened H1130 בן הדד So Ben-hadad H413 אל unto H4428 המלך king H609 אסא Asa, H7971 וישׁלח and sent H853 את   H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the hosts H834 אשׁר which H5921 לו על he had against H5892 ערי the cities H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5221 ויך and smote H853 את   H5859 עיון Ijon, H853 ואת   H1835 דן and Dan, H853 ואת   H62 אבל בית מעכה and Abel-beth-maachah, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H3672 כנרות Cinneroth, H5921 על with H3605 כל all H776 ארץ the land H5321 נפתלי׃ of Naphtali.
  21 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H8085 כשׁמע heard H1201 בעשׁא when Baasha H2308 ויחדל that he left off H1129 מבנות building H853 את   H7414 הרמה of Ramah, H3427 וישׁב and dwelt H8656 בתרצה׃ in Tirzah.
  22 H4428 והמלך Then king H609 אסא Asa H8085 השׁמיע made a proclamation H853 את   H3605 כל throughout all H3063 יהודה Judah; H369 אין none H5355 נקי exempted: H5375 וישׂאו and they took away H853 את   H68 אבני the stones H7414 הרמה of Ramah, H853 ואת   H6086 עציה and the timber H834 אשׁר thereof, wherewith H1129 בנה had built; H1201 בעשׁא Baasha H1129 ויבן built H4428 בם המלך and king H609 אסא Asa H853 את   H1387 גבע with them Geba H1144 בנימן of Benjamin, H853 ואת   H4709 המצפה׃ and Mizpah.
  23 H3499 ויתר The rest H3605 כל of all H1697 דברי the acts H609 אסא of Asa, H3605 וכל and all H1369 גבורתו his might, H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה he did, H5892 והערים and the cities H834 אשׁר which H1129 בנה he built, H3808 הלא not H1992 המה they H3789 כתובים written H5921 על in H5612 ספר the book H1697 דברי of the chronicles H3117 הימים of the chronicles H4428 למלכי of the kings H3063 יהודה of Judah? H7535 רק Nevertheless H6256 לעת in the time H2209 זקנתו of his old age H2470 חלה he was diseased H854 את   H7272 רגליו׃ in his feet.
  24 H7901 וישׁכב slept H609 אסא And Asa H5973 עם with H1 אבתיו his fathers, H6912 ויקבר and was buried H5973 עם with H1 אבתיו his fathers H5892 בעיר in the city H1732 דוד of David H1 אביו his father: H4427 וימלך reigned H3092 יהושׁפט and Jehoshaphat H1121 בנו his son H8478 תחתיו׃ in his stead.
