Acts 7:1-13 Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

2 G5346 And he said, G435 Men, G80 brothers, G3962 and fathers, G191 listen; G2316 The God G1391 of glory G3700 appeared G3962 to our father G11 Abraham, G3318 when he was in Mesopotamia, G4250 before G2228 G2730 he dwelled G5488 in Charran,

3 G2036 And said G1831 to him, Get G1093 you out of your country, G4772 and from your kindred, G1204 and come G1519 into G1093 the land G3739 which G1166 I shall show you.

4 G5119 Then G1831 came G1093 he out of the land G5466 of the Chaldaeans, G2730 and dwelled G5488 in Charran: G1564 and from there, G3326 when G3962 his father G599 was dead, G3351 he removed G1519 him into G5026 this G1093 land, G1519 wherein G3757 G3568 you now G2730 dwell.

5 G1325 And he gave G3756 him none G2817 inheritance G968 in it, no, not so much as to set G4228 his foot G2532 on: yet G1861 he promised G1325 that he would give G2697 it to him for a possession, G4690 and to his seed G3326 after G5607 him, when as yet he had G3756 no G5043 child.

6 G2316 And God G2980 spoke G3779 on this G4690 wise, That his seed G1510 should sojourn G3941 G245 in a strange G1093 land; G1402 and that they should bring G1402 them into bondage, G2559 and entreat G2559 them evil G5071 four G5071 hundred G2094 years.

7 G1484 And the nation G3739 to whom G1398 they shall be in bondage G2919 will I judge, G2036 said G2316 God: G3326 and after G1831 that shall they come G1831 forth, G3000 and serve G5129 me in this G5117 place.

8 G1325 And he gave G1242 him the covenant G4061 of circumcision: G3779 and so G1080 Abraham begat G2464 Isaac, G4059 and circumcised G3590 him the eighth G2250 day; G2464 and Isaac G2384 begat Jacob; G2384 and Jacob G1427 begat the twelve G3966 patriarchs.

9 G3966 And the patriarchs, G2206 moved G2206 with envy, G591 sold G2501 Joseph G1519 into G125 Egypt: G2316 but God was with him,

10 G1807 And delivered G3956 him out of all G2347 his afflictions, G1325 and gave G5485 him favor G4678 and wisdom G1726 in the sight G5328 of Pharaoh G935 king G125 of Egypt; G2525 and he made G2233 him governor G1909 over G125 Egypt G3650 and all G3624 his house.

11 G1161 Now G2064 there came G3042 a dearth G1909 over G3650 all G1093 the land G125 of Egypt G5477 and Chanaan, G3173 and great G2347 affliction: G3962 and our fathers G2147 found G3756 no G5527 sustenance.

12 G2384 But when Jacob G191 heard G4621 that there was corn G125 in Egypt, G1821 he sent G3962 out our fathers G4412 first.

13 G1722 And at G1208 the second G2501 time Joseph G319 was made G319 known G80 to his brothers; G2501 and Joseph’s G1085 kindred G1096 was made G5318 known G5328 to Pharaoh.
