Jeremiah 34:10-17 Now when all the princes, and all the people, who had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should release his male servants, and every one his female servants, that none should retain them in service any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.

12 H1697 Therefore the word H3068 of the LORD H3414 came to Jeremiah H3068 from the LORD, H559 [H8800] saying,

13 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H3068 the LORD, H430 the God H3478 of Israel; H3772 [H8804] I made H1285 a covenant H1 with your fathers H3117 in the day H3318 [H8687] that I brought them forth H776 from the land H4714 of Egypt, H1004 out of the house H5650 of bondage, H559 [H8800] saying,

14 H7093 At the end H7651 of seven H8141 years H7971 [H8762] release ye H376 every man H251 his brother H5680 an Hebrew, H4376 [H8735] who hath been sold H5647 [H8804] to thee; and when he hath served H8337 thee six H8141 years, H7971 [H8765] thou shalt let him go H2670 free H1 from thee: but your fathers H8085 [H8804] hearkened H5186 [H8689] not to me, neither inclined H241 their ear.

15 H3117 And ye had now H7725 [H8799] turned, H6213 [H8799] and had done H3477 right H5869 in my eyes, H7121 [H8800] in calling H1865 liberty H376 every man H7453 to his neighbour; H3772 [H8799] and ye had made H1285 a covenant H6440 at the face of H1004 me in the house H7121 [H8738] which is called H8034 by my name:

16 H7725 [H8799] But ye turned H2490 [H8762] and profaned H8034 my name, H376 and caused every man H5650 his male servant, H376 and every man H8198 his female servant, H7971 [H8765] whom he had set H2670 at liberty H5315 at their pleasure, H7725 [H8686] to return, H3533 [H8799] and brought them into subjection, H5650 to be to you for male H8198 and female servants.

17 H559 [H8804] Therefore thus saith H3068 the LORD; H8085 [H8804] Ye have not hearkened H7121 [H8800] to me, in calling H1865 liberty, H376 every one H251 to his brother, H376 and every man H7453 to his neighbour: H7121 [H8802] behold, I call H1865 a liberty H5002 [H8803] for you, saith H3068 the LORD, H2719 to the sword, H1698 to the pestilence, H7458 and to the famine; H5414 [H8804] and I will make H2189 H2113 [H8675] you to be removed H4467 into all the kingdoms H776 of the earth.
