  2 G1722 By G3739 G5129 this G1097 [G5719] ye know G4151 the Spirit G2316 of God: G3956 Every G4151 spirit G3670 [G5719] that confesseth G2424 that Jesus G5547 Anointed G2064 [G5756] hath come G1722 in G4561 the flesh G2076 [G5748] is G1537 from G2316 God:

  3 G2532 And G3956 every G4151 spirit G3739 that G3670 [G5719] confesseth G3361 not G2424 that Jesus G5547 Anointed G2064 [G5756] is come G1722 in G4561 the flesh G2076 [G5748] is G3756 not G1537 from G2316 God: G2532 and G5124 this G2076 [G5748] is G500 that spirit of anti-anointed, G3739 of which G191 [G5754] ye have heard G3754 that G2064 [G5736] it should come; G2532 and even G3568 now G2235 already G2076 [G5748] it is G1722 in G3588 the G2889 world.

  4 G5210 Ye G2075 [G5748] are G1537 of G3588   G2316 God, G5040 little children, G2532 and G3528 [G5758] have overcome G846 them: G3754 because G3187 greater G3588 is he that G2076 [G5748] is G1722 in G5213 you, G2228 than G3588 he that is G1722 in G3588 the G2889 world.

  5 G846 They G1526 [G5748] are G1537 of G2889 the world: G1223 G5124 therefore G2980 [G5719] they speak G1537 from G2889 the world, G2532 and G2889 the world G191 [G5719] heareth G846 them.

  6 G2249 We G2070 [G5748] are G1537 of G2316 God: G1097 [G5723] he that knoweth G2316 God G191 [G5719] heareth G2257 us; G3739 he that G2076 [G5748] is G3756 not G1537 of G2316 God G191 [G5719] heareth G3756 not G2257 us. G1537 By G5127 this G1097 [G5719] we know G4151 the spirit G225 of truth, G2532 and G4151 the spirit G4106 of delusion.

  7 G27 Beloved, G25 [G5725] let us love G240 one another: G3754 for G26 love G2076 [G5748] is G1537 from G2316 God; G2532 and G3956 every one G25 [G5723] that loveth G1080 [G5769] is born G1537 of G2316 God, G2532 and G1097 [G5719] knoweth G2316 God.

  8 G25 [G5723] He that loveth G3361 not G1097 [G5627] knoweth G3756 not G2316 God; G3754 for G2316 God G2076 [G5748] is G26 love.

  9 G1722 In G5129 this G5319 [G5681] was revealed G26 the love G2316 of God G1722 toward G2254 us, G3754 because G2316 that God G649 [G5758] sent G846 his G3439 only begotten G5207 Son G1519 into G2889 the world, G2443 that G2198 [G5661] we might live G1223 through G846 him.

  10 G1722 In G5129 this G2076 [G5748] is G26 love, G3754 not G3756 that G2249 we G25 [G5656] loved G2316 God, G235 but G3754 that G846 he G25 [G5656] loved G2248 us, G2532 and G649 [G5656] sent G846 his G5207 Son G2434 to be the atonement G4012 for G2257 our G266 sins.

  11 G27 Beloved, G1487 if G2316 God G3779 so G25 [G5656] loved G2248 us, G2249 we G3784 [G5719] ought G2532 also G25 [G5721] to love G240 one another.

  12 G3762 No man G2300 [G5766] hath seen G2316 God G4455 at any time. G1437 If G25 [G5725] we love G240 one another, G2316 God G3306 [G5719] dwelleth G1722 in G2254 us, G2532 and G846 his G26 love G2076 [G5748] is G5048 [G5772] perfected G1722 in G2254 us.

  13 G1722 By G5129 this G1097 [G5719] we know G3754 that G3306 [G5719] we dwell G1722 in G846 him, G2532 and G846 he G1722 in G2254 us, G3754 because G1325 [G5758] he hath given G2254 us G1537 of G846 his G4151 Spirit.

  14 G2532 And G2249 we G2300 [G5766] have seen G2532 and G3140 [G5719] do testify G3754 that G3962 the Father G649 [G5758] sent G5207 the Son G4990 to be the Saviour G2889 of the world.

  15 G3739 G302 Whoever G3670 [G5661] shall confess G3754 that G2424 Jesus G2076 [G5748] is G5207 the Son G2316 of God, G2316 God G3306 [G5719] dwelleth G1722 in G846 him, G2532 and G846 he G1722 in G2316 God.

  16 G2532 And G2249 we G1097 [G5758] have known G2532 and G4100 [G5758] believed G26 the love G3739 that G2316 God G2192 [G5719] hath G1722 to G2254 us. G2316 God G2076 [G5748] is G26 love; G2532 and G3306 [G5723] he that dwelleth G1722 in G26 love G3306 [G5719] dwelleth G1722 in G2316 God, G2532 and G2316 God G1722 in G846 him.

  17 G1722 In G5129 this G3326 G2257 is our G26 love G5048 [G5769] made perfect, G2443 that G2192 [G5725] we may have G3954 boldness G1722 in G2250 the day G2920 of judgment: G3754 because G2531 as G1565 he G2076 [G5748] is, G2532 so G2070 [G5748] are G2249 we G1722 in G5129 this G2889 world.

  18 G2076 [G5748] There is G3756 no G5401 fear G1722 in G26 love; G235 but G5046 perfect G26 love G906 [G5719] casteth G1854 out G5401 fear: G3754 because G5401 fear G2192 [G5719] hath G2851 chastisement. G1161   G5399 [G5740] He that feareth G5048 0 is G3756 not G5048 [G5769] made perfect G1722 in G26 love.

  19 G2249 We G25 [G5719] love G846 him, G3754 because G846 he G4413 first G25 [G5656] loved G2248 us.

  20 G1437 If G5100 a man G2036 [G5632] saith, G3754   G25 [G5719] I love G2316 God, G2532 and G3404 [G5725] hateth G846 his G80 brother, G2076 [G5748] he is G5583 a liar: G1063 for G25 [G5723] he that loveth G3361 not G846 his G80 brother G3739 whom G3708 [G5758] he hath seen, G4459 how G1410 [G5736] can G25 [G5721] he love G2316 God G3739 whom G3708 0 he hath G3756 not G3708 [G5758] seen?

  21 G2532 And G5026 this G1785 commandment G2192 [G5719] have we G575 from G846 him, G2443 That G25 [G5723] he who loveth G2316 God G25 [G5725] love G846 his G80 brother G2532 also.
