Proverbs 4:1-12

  4:1   191 ακούσατε Hear, 3816 παίδες O children, 3809 παιδείαν the instruction 3962 πατρός of a father, 2532 και and 4337 προσέχετε take heed 1097 γνώναι to know 1771 έννοιαν insight!   4:2   1435 δώρον [⁵gift 1063 γαρ ¹For 18 αγαθόν ⁴a good 1433 δωρούμαι ²I present 1473 υμίν ³to you]; 3588 τον   1699 εμόν [³my 3056 λόγον ⁴word 3361 μη ¹you should not 1459 εγκαταλίπητε ²abandon].   4:3   5207 υιός [⁴a son 1063 γαρ ¹For 1096 εγενόμην ²I was 2504 καγώ ³also 3962 πατρί ⁶to a father 5255 υπήκοος ⁵subject], 2532 και and 25 αγαπώμενος being loved 1722 εν in 4383 προσώπω the presence 3384 μητρός of a mother;   4:4   3739 οι the ones who 3004 έλεγον spoke 2532 και and 1321 εδίδασκόν taught 1473 με me, saying, 2043 ερειδέτω Establish 3588 ο   2251 ημέτερος our 3056 λόγος word 1519 εις in 4674 σην your 2588 καρδίαν heart! 5442 φύλασσε Keep 1785 εντολάς the commandments! 3361-1950 μη επιλάθη Do not forget!   4:5   2932 κτήσαι Acquire 4678 σοφίαν wisdom! 2932 κτήσαι Acquire 4907 σύνεσιν understanding! 3361-1950 μη επιλάθη You should not forget, 3366 μηδέ nor 3917.2 παρίδης should you ignore 4488.1 ρήσιν the saying 1699 εμού of my 4750 στόματος mouth; 3366 μηδέ nor 1578 εκκλίνης should you turn aside 575 από from 4487 ρημάτων the words 4750-1473 στόματός μου of my mouth.   4:6   3361-1459 μη εγκαταλίπης You should not abandon 1473 αυτήν it, 2532 και for 472 ανθέξεταί it shall hold to 1473 σου you. 2037.1-1473 εράσθητι αυτής Love it passionately! 2532 και and 5083 τηρήσει it will keep 1473 σε you.   4:7   746 αρχή [²is the beginning 4678 σοφίας ¹Wisdom], 2932 κτήσαι acquire 4678 σοφίαν wisdom! 2532 και And 1722 εν in 3956 πάση all 2934.3-1473 κτήσει σου of your possessing 2932 κτήσαι acquire 4907 σύνεσιν understanding!   4:8   4065.2-1473 περιχαράκωσον αυτήν Surround her with a rampart! 2532 και and 5312 υψώσει she shall exalt 1473 σε you. 5091 τίμησον Esteem 1473 αυτήν her! 2443 ίνα that 1473-4033.2 σε περιλάβη she should keep you;   4:9   2443 ίνα that 1325 δω she should give 3588 τη [³to 4674 ση ⁴your 2776 κεφαλή ⁵head 4735 στέφανον ¹a crown 5484 χαρίτων ²of favors], 4735 στεφάνω [⁴with a crown 1161 δε ¹and 5172 τρυφής ⁵of luxury 5231.3 υπερασπίση ²should shield 1473 σε ³you].   4:10   191 άκουε Hear, 5207 υιέ O son, 2532 και and 1209 δέξαι receive 1699 εμούς my 3056 λόγους words! 2532 και and 4129 πληθυνθήσεταί [³will be multiplied 1473 σοι ⁴to you 2094 έτη ¹years 2222-1473 ζωής σου ²of your life], 2443 ίνα that 1473 σοι to you 1096 γένωνται there should be 4183 πολλαί many 3598 οδοί ways 979 βίου of life.   4:11   3598-1063 οδούς γαρ For the ways 4678 σοφίας of wisdom 1321 διδάσκω I teach 1473 σε you; 1688 εμβιβάζω [²I put ⁴on board 1161 δε ¹and 1473 σε ³you 5163 τροχιαίς ⁶tracks 3717 ορθαίς ⁵straight].   4:12   1437-1063 εάν γαρ For when 4198 πορεύη you should go 3756 ου [³will not 4788 συγκλεισθήσεταί ⁴be hemmed in 1473 σου ¹your 3588 τα   1226.1 διαβήματα ²footsteps]; 1437-1161 εάν δε and when 5143 τρέχης you should run, 3756 ου you shall not 2872 κοπιάσεις tire.
