Mengenai diri saya, hanya hal-hal yang menunjukkan kelemahan saya itulah, yang mau saya banggakan. ⁶ Seandainya saya ingin juga membanggakan sesuatu, saya tidak mau menjadi pembual yang omong kosong; saya akan mengatakan yang benar. Itu sebabnya saya lebih senang membanggakan kelemahan-kelemahan saya, sebab apabila saya lemah, maka justru pada waktu itulah saya merasakan Kristus melindungi saya dengan kekuatan-Nya. ¹⁰ Jadi saya gembira dengan kelemahan-kelemahan saya. Saya juga gembira kalau oleh karena Kristus saya difitnah, saya mengalami kesulitan, dikejar-kejar dan saya mengalami kesukaran. Sebab kalau saya lemah, maka pada waktu itulah justru saya kuat.
