  11 G1161 Now G2064 [G5627] there came G3042 a famine G1909 over G3650 all G1093 the land G125 of Egypt G2532 and G5477 Canaan G2532 , and G3173 great G2347 affliction G2532 : and G2257 our G3962 fathers G2147 [G5707] found G3756 no G5527 sustenance.

  13 G2532 And G1722 at G1208 the second G2501 time Joseph G319 [G5681] was made known G846 to his G80 brethren G2532 ; and G2501 Joseph's G1085 kindred G1096 [G5633] was made G5318 known G5328 to Pharaoh.

  14 G1161 Then G2501 Joseph G649 [G5660] sent G3333 [G5668] , and called G846 his G3962 father G2384 Jacob G2532 to him, and G3956 all G846 his G4772 kindred G1722 , G1440 G4002 seventy and five G5590 souls.

  15 G1161 So G2384 Jacob G2597 [G5627] went down G1519 into G125 Egypt G2532 , and G5053 [G5656] died G846 , he G2532 , and G2257 our G3962 fathers,

  16 G2532 And G3346 [G5681] were carried over G1519 into G4966 Shechem G2532 , and G5087 [G5681] laid G1722 in G3418 the sepulchre G3739 that G11 Abraham G5608 [G5662] bought G5092 for a sum G694 of money G3844 of G5207 the sons G1697 of Emmor G3588 {\i the father G4966 } of Shechem.

  17 G1161 But G2531 when G5550 the time G1860 of the promise G1448 [G5707] drew near G3739 , which G2316 God G3660 [G5656] had sworn G11 to Abraham G2992 , the people G837 [G5656] grew G2532 and G4129 [G5681] multiplied G1722 in G125 Egypt,
